The hotel Is carved into the rock with a stunning view on the Valley. Rooms are Just a dream, your can't Imagine how fresh and temperate can be a cave room until you spend a night there. The host and the entire staff were Absolutely and genuinely kind and caring. On sunday instead of the standard buffet breakfast(which Is incredibily varied and Rich) they treated us with a table service. Position is stragical, from Ortahisar you can visit all the main valleys of Cappadocia in a Blink, moreover Ortahisar Is much less Mass touristic than Goreme or Urgup(yet) so you can find some typical less touristic restaurant in there. Overall we had a fantastic experience. Thank you very much!

Everything was perfect!

The room was fantastic, we were in room 306 and it had two floors and the room was decorated perfectly, hot tub worked great, and bed was comfortable. The staff was also very hospitable and went above and beyond for everything, they scheduled all of our tours as well as set up a private birthday dinner next to the fireplace with roses and candles with a meal of our choice. Would highly recommend and when I come back to cappadocia I will stay here again.

If you are looking for character and authentic vibe then this fits the bill. Lovely terrace with garden area to walk thru below. Owner very kind and helpful. Loved the in room hottub . We signed up for 3 activities/tours and pick up drop off went very smoothly.

Room was built into the rock, wifi connectivity is compromised. we could get a signal to use phone /whatsapp while on the terrace though.

Sallih and his staff waited for us to check in late. I had email Sallih inquiring for some gluten and lactose free options for my daughter is allergic to those. He had bought coconut milk and all sort of cookies and oatmeal for her. Sallih arranged, taxis, balloons and photo sessions for us during our stay. The property itself and the view are gorgeous. The history behind the property is very interesting. Very quiet and peaceful place. You have shops and cafes within minutes. Castle Ortahisar is within minutes. You get all you need towels, shampoo, soap, and fridge.

Very atmospheric hotel in the central part of a very picturesque small town. Friendly staff. Very beautiful view from the window. Exquisite interior of the hotel and rooms.

Unfortunately, there were a lot of people at breakfast, the few staff did not quite cope with the service. I did not find any other shortcomings.

this hotel is splendid, staff was very friendly, excellent quality hotel, really feel like you're in an exotic cave, highly recommend. they offered me a tour of the hot air balloon launching hotspots for photos early in the morning (5am) when they start.

the only drawback is location, if you prefer something more central then best to stay in Goreme. Another drawback that wasn't an issue for me were stairs, if you have a hard time going up or down stairs this hotel isn't for you. but it truly is... splendid!

I highly recommend the place. It is the absolute example of coziness and it has all the comforts needed. Being cool in the warm nights and nice and warm when chilly , every single room has it own style and ambience. The food that was served for breakfast could definitely satisfy even the fanciest taste. The chef was there all the time ready to serve and fulfil everyone’s culinary orders. The fascinating treatment received from the owner of the hotel was unforgettable.He treated us as we were his dearest friends and gave us useful advices and indulged our very whim. The valley located on foothill of the cliff around the hotel it is worth it exploring too. Under breath stopping sky light, you can find the local open air museum and the well preserved Christian churches in the caves. Undisturbed by massive tourist crowds the picturesque view could be enjoyed in peace.

A lovely spot with an incredible view of the historical mountainside dwellings, fairy tale room with Jacuzzi bath (nice and hot), with a lovely patio and decor.

I have been many hotels in many countries, but this is one of the BEST i have ever been. Natural rooms, lovely weather and friendly staff. Everything is the best. Recommended…
