Hotel was nice and the room was comfortable. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The locations is very close to the city centre. The restaurant was comfortable with great food.

There was a very loud party on the same floor on the second night we stayed there. When we spoke to reception, we were told that the hotel allows for loud parties and that the guests needed to shut the party down at 11pm. The party did finish at 11pm which was good. However, we were very tired and had to put up with the noise until 11pm. Had we known that we had to put up with loud parties until 11pm, we would not have booked this hotel and stayed at a more quiet one.

The location of the hotel, with a magnificent seaview from the 11th floor, thanks to Tina from reception! Well-appointed room with a nice lounge area and comfortable double bed. Huge and varied breakfast. Helpul and friendly staff. Parking conveniently attached to the property.

Slightly chaotic finding seating place for breakfast, but the meal more than made up for it :). Would be nice with a maitre d' showing guests to available seating during the rush hour.

Good location very close to the center and to the Kunstsilo and Filharmony. Excellent breakfast. Very nice rooms. Kind and smiling staff. Definitely recommended for anyone staying in Kristiansand.

Not much comes to mind. Perhaps the parking in front of the hotel should give discount to the hotel guests.

Very good location in Kristiansand, you can reach both the center and the ferry terminal in less than 5 minutes walking. The hotel is standard, but good quality

If you travel by car, you need to pay for the parking (if you find a slot which are also super tight), and the fees are monstrous (I paid 360 NOK for 24 hours). The hotel staff recommended to use public parking along the street, but you would need to walk with luggage and your car would be out of sight.

Superb breakfast with a great variety. Quite long timings for the buffet breakfast - good for us who prefer a late breakfast. Great location near Odderoya and Fiskebrygga; also near the park/beach where we did our morning runs. Relatively near to the old town too.

We stayed at level 12, just one level below the skybar. The bar was a little noisy for us as we are rather early sleepers.

The closeness to the harbor and right in town. Ferries are right there also. The young man at Front desk was exceedingly friendly. His name is Mats and he was wonderful. He was very personable and showed genuine concern for us. We had driven 10 hours and were very hungry and tired. He found us a restaurant that was open on Sunday night. He is what customer service should look like.

Couldn't control the room temperature and the shower was a bit of a struggle

great glutenfree breakfast options! First time on our Norway trip you didn‘t feel disappointed or „just eating for survival“ being unable for medical reasons to eat gluten. Staff was very helpful at breakfast to walk you through allergene issues, but some newer staff members need to be informed that you cannot take the same knife to cut glutenfree bread than normal bread (no harm was done as I know that myself, but to avoid medical emergencies, the topic of cross-contaminations should be addressed with the breakfast service staff.

although it is not cheap, the quality is there, so nothing to complain about.

Amazing staff, comfortable bed, decent workspace, good breakfast, very clean, small but nicely designed bathroom.

Room was dimly lit despite plenty of lamps, and I could not find a possibility of increasing the light - but then I did not ask the staff about it either. Lack of space for luggage and no cupboard to put your clothes in. It is alright though, I guess, for a single night for a single person.

Loved the breakfast — it was fantastic, the best among all 4-star hotels.

The room is too small for four people. The beds are very soft and of low quality — I woke up with back pain after sleeping. The bathroom is so small and uncomfortable without table or any space to put necessities.
