The staff and all staff are amazing will go beyond to help, the pool is very big and clean, the access to private beach area fantastic, they have a recognised PADI…diving team on site…the rooms are spacious and the food meets all nationalities needs…if you want a place to relax and have wonderful people around you this is the place

Nothing regardless of other reviews this is a very good place, I saw one review which said there was no parking space well I have been there and the parking space is massive. Maybe this person wanted to dock an aircraft carrier

The staff of the restaurant and lobby made our stay extra worthwile. Amidst the economic crisis, powercuts and with few guests the cheerful, amiable and attentive staff did their utmost to let us feel comfortable. We loved the food. And we enjoyed the monkeys playing in the trees around the hotel.

It was a little further from Trincomalee as we thought. But on the other hand; it's peaceful and rather quiet beach appealed to us. It's only 20 minutes by boat to Pigeon Island.

beach area next to the hotel area was quite dirty, wooden sun beds were partially broken and were getting repaired during our stay, no restaurants/shops close by (min. 15min drive)

Great Beach for kids and a lovely pool, lovely breakfast buffet, lovely dinner - CHEF! Thanks for blessing me with the Black Pork Curry, I had three portions. YUM! The place is full of all kinds of animals - Geckos, Lizards, Monkeys, birds, bats. Thank You for supporting the wild life around you. It is to be Sri Lankan and consistent with your nations pride in nature.

Good breakfast, friendly and very trsponsive staff, and resort manager. great pool. The PADI that is located in the resort is great. we took the Pigeon Island tour with a guide ... which upgraded the entire visit

Our room was smelly (probably smoke room), The resort tried to resolve it with partial success... as the smell came back in the 2nd day ... Not well mantained (shower instrument had rust)

The peace, quietness & laid back vibe of the hotel & location. It has a quirkiness that charms. The staff who were friendly & always ready to help. The Sri Lankan food was delicious, the chef does a great job.

The hotel needs a lick of paint in places. The rubbish on the beach, not the hotels fault but it spoils a beach walk.

Great location, great staff! Mr Sisira and Mr Premachandra were amazing and made sure we had the best experience given that all resorts were just starting up post-covid and it wasn’t easy to maintain the great service straightaway. On the day it was just our family at the resort but we were given amazing food (and service) as we wished despite only making food for my family. Highly recommended. The location is amazing and closest to the beautiful pigeon island where they can also set you up for a boat ride to the islands for diving / snorkelling.

We loved our stay at Pigeon Island resort. The hotel is brilliant, in a great location with really friendly and helpful staff. The beach is the star of the show and was so lovely and peaceful. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant was really good and great value! Would definitely recommend.

The place has clearly had a tough couple of years with the pandemic and some areas in need of a lick of paint BUT this was reflected in the prices, it is a bargain for the rates! The place was clean and safe and the staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.
