Very nice place, good food, great staff, amazing pool, beautifull rooms!

They advertise cocktails in pictures on google but they where not on the menu, they had alchohol on the menu but it was full bottles you had to buy. They should also do portion controle on the lunch and dinner menu as the big plate of fried rice was clearly for 3-4people and iam a solo traveler.

We liked this hotel. It has a collection of rooms around a lovely pool and bar with wooden planked walkways. Each room has a little terrace and the rooms are large with aircon. It is located in Nilaveli, a 20 minute walk from the northern end of the beach. We preferred the southern end where there are more dive centres and beach bars so used the PickMe app to travel by tuk tuk for about 600 LKR and went to Uppaveli beach and Trincomalee when we wanted to see more of the area. We ate in the hotel restaurant a lot and used their laundry service. The staff are friendly too.

The breakfast could have been a bit more varied and the wardrobe needs a hanging rail. It was missing from the wardrobes in both the rooms we booked.

Staff doesn’t speak good English but they do their best to be helpful anyway. the bathrooms in common areas are not always clean. but the main disadvantage is that the hotel is very far from the beach. We were deceived by google maps that had showed us a 20-min walking path to the beach, which in reality is not walkable because there is some navy base at the beach section right in front of the hotel. So we had to get a tuk tuk each time we wanted to go anywhere because around the hotel is just the road and dry fields (not as green as in the pictures, probably because it was the dry season).

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is well-kept and so the swimming pool. There was a good choice of breakfast (both sweet and salty) and of restaurant. Local food was really good and not spicy, as I requested. Our room was great and we loved the entertaining room.

Shower doesn’t have a curtain or a divider, however we didn’t have any problem of water in the bathroom. The resort is not located near by the beach, but you need to take a tuk tuk to reach the south part of Nilaveli Beach (better than Nilaveli Beach)

Very warm welcome team of Palmera. They're careful to the wishes of their guests (like we needed additional towels, sheets, so on). Also they gave us advice on all issues that we had. The territory not big, but well-groomed and juicy green. We like it and maybe one day we'll be back. Breakfast was good. Perhaps, to be excellent, some chicken, fish or seafood was missing. The breakfast spot is great - veranda with outdoor tables is so comfy in the morning. Dinner was amazing: fresh fish, seafood, vegs. Palmera situated not far from the beach. It takes us about 15 minutes to get to a beach by foot, or about 3 minutes by car or tuk-tuk, Wish you much more satisfied guests and prosperity.

Very nice hotel with an amazing and well maintained pool, it was the perfect place to relax and rest after 2,5 weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka. This was one of the best hotels we stayed in.

The breakfast was ok but not great, often cold by the time we started eating. The wifi was not working properly, and the pool table was broken.

During our stay at this hotel, we had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and provided us with a pleasant stay. The hotel's food was excellent, and we enjoyed dining at the bar, which was conveniently located. The pool was a highlight, especially during the hot weather, and it added to our enjoyment and relaxation. While the hotel was a bit far from the beach, the management did an excellent job of ensuring everything was perfectly managed for our stay. In fact, we were so pleased with our experience that we decided to extend our stay for an additional week.

A beautiful lush green setting. We got to see monkeys, lizards and many birds in the back garden . The room was very clean and modern. When our aircon stopped working ( it was v.hot in our room) they were very helpful to get it fixed although it was late.

It is set out of town with very little around, we traveled to Uppuveli most days to go to the beach or get something to eat.

The resort is 1.5 km from the closet beach of nilaveli Every Time we wanted to go to Trincomalee we had to take a 10-15min ride with a tok tok that cost 1500rs one way I don't recommend the hotel to those who like to travel every day

staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The pool area, It offered a refreshing and relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast provided by the resort was a great way to start each day, ensuring I had the energy for my adventures.
