Was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. Had driven by the hotel on many occasions, Kimberley was never a “stop along the way” spot before, was never taken by the outside appearance. However it turned out to be far better than expected. From the retro appliances and record player (had a Jim Nabors record!!!) to the overall ambiance it was a great experience…

Parking lot was a bit rough, some loose gravel, as we were on motorcycles, it add a bit of challenge.

The breakfast was more and better than we expected. The hotel went out of their want to please us. Also, we hd dinner at the motel. I had the best hamburger I'ver ever had. Only problem was that it was so good I ate too much and it was later than we usually eat.

Because of lack of staff when we arrived there was no one to check us in. However, one of the hotel staff stepped in and took care of us and saw that we got our room and key.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. It was quiet, even on the road-side. Plenty of parking available. The staff were pleasant and helpful. For breakfast there was a good selection with eggs, sausage, mini pancakes, potato hashbrowns, fruit options, cereal options, yogurt options, coffee, juices.

No elevator was a surprise - one of our party was disabled We were an elderly foursome so carrying luggage upstairs was difficult The reception had no staff when we arrived and when we left - we had to wait a long time for assistance A paramedic was trying to get to a client who had called, but no one around to let them in to the hotel room

The breakfast and location were great. I have mobility issues and climbing up and down the stairs was very tough. The elevator at the back is alright but of very little use when going to the dining areas or meeting someone for traveling together. Trying to explain where the elevator was was not easy to do.

No way of getting to the rooms easily without using stairs. No desk in room.

Location great for us as we enjoyed the walking trails nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast unexpected bonus. Porch pub right underneath great

Modern, clean hotel and room. Easy drive to the airport and ski hill. Spacious room. Free breakfast, was ok, some fruit, yogurt, coffee, cereals, toast etc.

Bathroom was a bit dated, but did not really care. Beds are a bit small, if you're 6ft+ your feet will hang off of the bed, again, did not really care for the price.

Location and rates were great. Staff was amazing!

Taps were a little weird with temperature mixes and somewhat dated but you can tell improvements are ongoing and the place is very clean.

clean and quiet. Easy to find and right along the highway. amazingly still quiet. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. asked for a recommendation about the best local pizza place in town and their recommendation was spot on. if you are ever in Kimberly try Grubstake Pizza. I highly recommend the Apple Pie Pizza just like the staff at the hotel did.

The washroom is very small and cramped. There was nobody to check us out and we were not informed that this would be the case. we searched for someone and found nobody. communication on this would have been appreciated. If you have mobility challenges this is not a place for you to stay because there is no elevator.
