Rooms were nice and the rates were reasonable. There's a Denny's on site which is convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is kind of in the middle nowhere, which seems oxymoronic considering that it's on the main highway going through town. The aforementioned Denny's is handy but that's about the only sit down restaurant near the hotel. There are a couple of fast food joints not too far away if that suits one. For those who like to have a pint at a pub - nope. Nothing near by that we could see. I suppose that one could take a cab downtown but... The liquor store was also quite a distance away - walkable but still pretty far. Finally, there's was a spur directly behind our room. The trains chose the most "interesting" times to go back and forth...

Location of restaurant was great as weather was bad. Toilet in a very cramped space, a large person would have gotten stuck. The manager that was on when I checked out was very good when I complained about TV service, but the one when I checked in could have come to our room when I complained instead of just giving me a TV channel to view

We don't stay in motels very often so had to spend a bit f time searching for things. There were no hospitality flyers anywhere and we are not technical people so we're unable to access a room service menu or even figure out how to use the scan thingys that were on the desk. Tv watching was a challenge, but was promised that it would be rectified when I complained on checkout.

Perfect room size.

There was a line up of people waiting to check in and that process was going slower than what I’ve seen at other hotels. It was a grind to lug my baggage up to the second floor since there was no elevator. The complimentary coffee in the morning wasn’t very good and all they had was powdered creamer instead of real cream.

The location was terrific and easily accessible along our route to Crowsnest Pass via hwy 3. A 24-hour Denny’s restaurant is conveniently attached. Sandman properties typically have nice rooms and this was no exception. Comfortable and well-appointed room-only thing missing was a top freezer unit in the freezer to refreeze our travel ice-packs. Staff on check-in and check-out were friendly and welcoming.

Our first room assigned, #116, smelled strongly of 2nd hand smoke-the front desk clear was quick to correct this and reassign us to a room several down the hall. In the morning, the hallways had the same strong second hand smoke smell. Not sure if it is supposed to be non-smoking property as we did not see signage.

Location - good Breakfast - very good

Our first room, 113, and no heat. The staff moved us to 117 and the drain for the sink had no crossmember in the drain to stop anything if you dropped it in the sink. The hotel was full so we do appreciate the staff accommodating us.

We ate at Denny's and had a great breakfast. Prices are much higher this year, but we were happy with our meal.

The room was a bit pricey, but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast not included, but close by.

Did not use the restaurant

We could not get the coffee pot to work, so phoned the desk wh immediately had a new one delivered to the room. Only thing better was if the old one worked.

Had a pool which was treason we ended up there so kids could go swimming

Someone’s food left in fridge as well some garbage on floor so cleaning staff could step it up a bit

Great location, friendly staff, fast and easy check in and out. Nice fluffy towels!

AC was a bit hard to regulate. Tiny bathroom, but functional.

Although dated the property is well managed and staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean & comfortable and quiet. It was a nice one night stay while driving through to our destination in Alberta. Price was good too !
