Absolutely beautiful location. Very clean facility. Everything you need to cook and prepare your own food - but bring your own spices and oil. Coffee whitener and sugar and sugar alternative also provided and salt and pepper. Staff courteous respectful and cheery, and very attentive to checking in every morning to see if we needed a top up of household supplies or housekeeping services. Quiet, beautiful, serene, stay. Great place to recharge. Hiking trails provide various levels of difficulty and length. 5 km trail worth seeing is Fairy Creek Falls.

A fabulous welcome to a truly iconic location. We were immediately made to feel so welcomed by every one of the staff and the locals we met in the hotel bar. Our room was in the main lodge and had amazing views straight up the mountains. A real 5-star luxury experience that is becoming rarer and rarer these days. If I could rate higher, I would. We have already booked to go back in a few months. A special mention has to go to the impeccably mannered staff at the bar / restaurant - in particular Alex and Adam - for making us feel like part of the community.

Front desk night staff, "James" walked me to my unit and carried my luggage for me. He let me park my car where He could watch it overnight through the 24/7 main glass doors, because I was moving and it was full loaded with all my belongings. I am a Senior woman, travelling alone with some mobility issues, especially when climbing stairs with luggage. He made everything very easy, and welcoming. I fel;t very safe and well protected and cared for here.

I liked everything about this place and the service I received here.

Great location, good amenities. Restaurant is a little pricey but the food is very good. The day spa on the premises is excellent with very well trained therapists and well worth a visit, even if you are not staying there. The staff were always very friendly and helpful.

The building itself is so beautiful and grand that it is a real shame they have chosen to undermine the atmosphere with cafeteria style furniture in the main room. I also have no idea what they’re trying to achieve with an ice bar which no one uses and does not fit the atmosphere of the property. Cosy bar area would be better.

The location was fantastic. The staff was all lovely. Everything we ate and drank at the property was wonderful. Loved the views from the hot tub and the wonderful size and layout of the room.

The bed was firm and required switching from side to side throughout the night... unfortunately the bed was very noisy with each movement so my husband and I kept waking each other up. The bathroom had a large Jacuzzi tub that we would have enjoyed except the jets had black rings around them and hadn't been properly cleaned.

The lodge, including both the room and facilities, was very comfortable, quiet, and clean. It's a perfect place to relax without any worries. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome. The food was outstanding, easily some of the best I’ve ever had—and I travel a lot for work. Given the high quality of service and amenities, the price was very reasonable. We truly felt welcomed and well-treated throughout our stay.

Honestly, we haven't found anything that made us uncomfortable. Maybe if we spent more time here, we might find something, but I would be surprised. The place is very good.

The room itself was so lovely and predicted practically all of our needs, from the real coffee maker, to the thick towels, the fireplace and the comfortable seating area. There was underground parking too, which was a fantastic convenience. The customer service was unparalleled.

A little far away from the town centre, and the restaurant (while wonderful to have one on site) ended up being quite busy which impacted the wait staff (which seemed a bit short-staffed…) from being able to effectively deliver undistracted service to the patrons. It looked stressful for them.

The room was a very spacious king suite with a massive comfortable bed and 2 bathrooms, one with a spar bath and the other with a shower and bath. Both had toilets. We had a cosy living room with a gas fire which was very homely to put on in the evening. We were on the quiet side of the building but still had great views of the mountain. There was a great restaurant a short walk away in the other building. It was a short walk to the Elk chair.

I know there was a ski concierge system but I would of preferred a proper boot room like other places we have stayed on during this 4 week Canadian skiing holiday. It was no major problem as we put the snowboards in the back of the car and parked that in the car park outside just near the front door so it was easy to pick them up on our way to the lift.

Wow, staff greeted us as we exited our car introducing themselves, proceeded to open doors for us to the hotel and then introduced us to the reception staff. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and our room were amazing, had a balcony that looked straight out onto the chair lift. Snowed whilst we were there and when we were in the spa pool, couldn't have asked for more. Opening weekend of ski season December 2023. Five star accommodation at three star prices. Much better than we expected. Highly recommended. Would definitely go back if/when we visit Canada again.

That we didn't stay longer!
