Although the hotel appeared to be a bit dated, it was clean. I liked the courtyard aspect with the pool and hot tub and lounging areas arranged the way they were. The full breakfast was a really welcome touch! Our waitress Tania was a real gem!! Please recognize her and give her our thanks. We tipped her well after breakfast as she did such an amazing job! I don't remember the name of the young lady who served us on Friday morning, she was really wonderful as well.

Parking, parking, parking!!! We had to park on the street 2 of our 3 nights there. We were out visiting friends and didn't get back until after dark. It would seem that unless a person is there early in the afternoon/evening your out of luck on finding a place to park.

Location is fantastic and this is a quaint clean perfectly reasonable place to stay. It ain't the Ritz but that's not what you're paying for or looking for in Fernie. Walkable to old town. Loads of parking. On site restaurant/pub, beer store. In room fridge, good sized room for 2 people. Cute little balcony. Indoor pool and hot tub (we didn't use), looked fun.

Nothing really. It's a classic ski/summer hotel, but with a good breakfast, was surprisingly quiet and the water pressure in the shower was great.

Great location on the highway through town. Excellent indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was wonderful- plenty of hot choices. Staff was very friendly and helpful-- including when one of my young kids locked us out of our own bathroom! Plenty of parking on site. Very clean bathroom, and comfortable beds.

Only negative was the patio door didn't have black-out curtains, so when the sun came up in the morning the room got quite bright. If our kids napped during the day, this would have been problematic. Certainly worth noting for parents of infants.

We have stayed at this property MANY times so obviously we like it. It’s great to walk across the street to Yamagoya for sushi. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and the beds and linens are wonderful. Although this hotel is older, care has been taken to keep everything up to date.

Not a big fan 😜 of the heat pump location. We have one at home and it’s great but I don’t like the air directed right at the bed. Also the flashing digital display is annoying at night.

The hotel was a little dated but bed was comfortable, room was huge compared to chain hotels, hot breakfast was decent and staff was friendly. The blonde young lady at the breakfast lounge was so nice and very helpful.

Second night the power suddenly turned off for like 2 seconds. Not a big deal, was just awakened by the loud start of the ac.

Lovely family-run hotel close to historic downtown and plenty of restaurants and other local destinations. We walked to a Ghostriders match at the arena and were proud to learn that the hotel sponsors the team and other local institutions. Sheets and towels are high-quality, staff is super helpful and kind, from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast.

Some of the furniture is worn, a bit of grime under the kitchen sink. These are very small issues, as the room and facilities were otherwise great.

The lobby area with pool is really cool, the room was great and being connected to the pub/restaurant & wine shop was brilliant. Great hotel.

We thought the hotel was really great. Our only complaint was the breakfast. The eggs were terrible and the coffee is really bad. Just improve those things especially the coffee.

Front reception staff were most accommodating as had screwed up reservation. Room (221) was very spacious, gorgeous king bed, microwave, fridge, large bathroom with actual counter space , excellent towels, all needed amenities. Beautiful courtyard with the pool and hot tub. Liquor store on site. Pub restaurant on site with access from interior. Way above average ‘pub food’, great beer selection, and super waitresses! Included breakfast was actually not even. Breakfast lady very friendly and helpful.

Maybe put kurieg’s for coffee in room? Forgot their was carafe coffee by reception though. Had stayed here before but tried a couple of other less expensive places on a few previous trips through. For the slightly higher cost will definitely be using Park Place in the future now.

Perfect location, walking distance to restaurants and bars, and a short drive to the ski hill. Beds were also extremely comfortable.

If I’m being nit picky, I’d say the hot tub was a touch too hot for me. But this was no deal breaker. We loved our stay here and will be back for future fernie trips!

Roomy and comfortable rooms. Finally a hotel with decent pillows!! And a very comfortable king size bed. We always like to stop here when we are passing through Fernie.

It’s a bit on the pricier side, but compared to other places in Fernie worth the value in comparison
