I give a lot of positive reviews... With Snow Valley I would emphasize the high marks of the overall quality! Wonderfully remodeled and decorated inn! So comfy and high quality furnishings! Bed pillows blankets awesome! I remember the bathroom being good too! The hotel staff are really kind and always present. There's a hot tub you can sign up to use. Decent value, Fernie is a little more expensive than other towns but rest assured snow valley lodging is well worth it! I would stay here for all of my stays in Fernie for sure!

Clean, comfortable room (#31). We arrived late and checked out early but it was hassle free. We retrieved our room key from a small lock box (using a code guest services provided after completing a required form), and used the key drop the next morning because the property does not have 24hr reception. Small touches like the foaming hand soap and shampoo/body wash from a local company were appreciated. As were the dish towels. Small touches make a big difference! It has been a while since we have stayed in such a comfortable and lovely motel, at an affordable price!

It was fabulous, but the addition of black-out curtains would help keep the room dark. (See photo)

The bed and pillows were so comfortable! Five stars!!!! It was incredibly clean. Loved the layout of the room -- plenty of places to sit and move around with a nice "prep" space by the fridge/microwave. The shower and bathtub were big and luxurious. The hot tub was immaculate. Front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. Baseboard heat was a pleasant change from the forced air units typically in hotels. Great location for walking to dinner or downtown. Small touches in the room, like the "rough" wood wall, the art and the fern had a modern and stylish feel plus the local soaps and many lighting options.

Walls might've been a little thin. Our room was near the stairs and quite noisy. The towels could've been softer!

Front desk staff was very nice and being able to communicate via text was very handy. They nicely offered to mail something I left back to me. Hot tub was also great and the room was comfortable and clean.

Air conditioner was a little loud, metal staircase a little slippery in the rain/snow. A little pricey for what it is but overall the experience was still positive.

The view of Fernie Resort on Lizard Range was spectacular from 2nd floor. Within 2min. From hotel you can walk along Elk River to downtown and further. We plugged our level 1 EV charger into plugs right in the parking lot which was bonus.

I had to wear earplugs to dampen highway 3 traffic noise but I am a light sleeper. My husband slept through it all.

Cleanliness was top notch, and it’s super cute. I’m very much looking forward to staying in the little house style options next time. Loved the fact they have complimentary bikes to take out around the town and it’s location is easily accessible to everything.

-The mattress wasn’t very comfy for me but that’s down to personal preference, my daughter said she didn’t mind it and slept well. -Being on the bottom floor of a motel style building you can hear every movement and conversation from above, but was easily muffled with setting the AC unit on fan mode.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The room was very comfortable and super clean. The bus stop to the mountain was right outside the door. There were restaurants nearby and only a short walk into downtown.Would definitely return and recommend to others.

very comfortable rooms on the main highway, but not noisy at all. This looks like an old motel that has been renovated and is really nice, not many this nice in Fernie! I loved the spa and sauna a great way to finish the day or pass the time if its too cold outside. Loved the views from the room of the mountains. I used the free bike hire, it was so easy to get around town by bike since its very flat. Riding to Tim Horton's and the new Wendy's was a highlight!

No lift to the top floor, a lot of stairs to get up there.

Very clean, quiet and beautifully furnished room. Room was rather small, but the clever layout and nice design made it look actually very spacious. Very comfortable bed and nice sheets. Great location just off the hwy, but close to the downtown as well. Awesome communication from the hotel (they send information about check-in, provide phone number if needed, send a proper receipt after checking out). Definitely would recommend

Nothing major. Rain showerhead in the bathroom is stylish, but I prefer the good old water pressure. Bath towels seemed a bit too small.

The room was very comfortable with the bed and sofa. It was also great to have free parking, laundry and hot tub as well as coffee making facilities and a fridge. The hotel is set-up for bikers with a bike wash station and rentals.

It's more of a motel set-up so we had some noisy neighbors sitting right outside our window. Additionally, the main road was loud at night. Next time I would book the tiny homes as they looked lovely.
