The jacuzzi tub was actually long enough for me to fit. I am 6'1" and it was a treat to sit in a tub with straight legs.

Water pressure was pretty bad in the shower. The tap is not sealed to the wall and water is getting in to the wall, likely causing mold and rot in the lower units. The tub is cracked and would be a good candidate for future replacement.

Restaurant service was excellent. The room was a surprise as Sparwood is a coal/logging industry town and expected the rooms to be just ok. Very surprised to find the rooms in very good condition.

Restaurant does not open until 7 am. There was no way of ordering muffins at the hotel for guests departing early in the morning. There is a grocery store across the street.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The front office was pleasant and made us feel welcome. After a long day of driving in a winter storm, whoever greeted us on Jan 1 and checked us out Jan 2 deserves extra kudos. We got in and went right to sleep, but because everything was closed Jan 1 we hadn’t had time to get the kids any food or snacks for the next morning and whoever checked us out on Jan 2 was SO sweet and gave the kids two brown bags with fruit, a muffin and a drink. There might have been more but it’s been a month and I may have forgotten! But I was so touched by her generosity that I knew I most definitely had to write a review! We had a wonderful experience and we will definitely stay there again!

Clean, affordable, friendly and accommodating staff.

There were loud noises coming from above our room one of the evenings. Sounded like moving furniture or cleaning. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The property was the perfect location to restaurants, groceries and easy access to the highway to get to my event in Blairmore.

The highway was very close as my room faced it. It would be better to have a rear facing room.

The location is great for me and the food in the restaurant is very good. Nice place to stay.

Lighting in the room is very dark.

The hotel is quiet and comfortable, but I have an problem with my legs so walking up that many stairs was an issue, and When coming down I almost missed a step three times. So an elevator in this location would of been an asset. For what I know now I probably won’t be booking again. Which is an issue as I will be coming there a couple times a month now and will have to make other arrangements now.

All up to expectations i extended my stay, I fell ill with kidney stones. Not fun. But very helpful staff. Restaurant attached had a good choice on menu. Food was good. Will book again

There was nothing I did not like about my stay.

Bathroom amenities are great. Really like the double shower head and the tub.

Would like to see the restaurant open for breakfast. There aren't a lot of choices in Sparwood otherwise.
