Very nice, homey room, comfortable and clean. Will definitely use again. Enjoyed our stay.

Fridge made a high pitched noise occasionally (minor). This is a virtual/remote location meaning no staff are on site. Not necessarily a detractor but after a nine hour drive from Canada, we were unaware we were going to have to search our email, etc for a room code to get in (which we have yet to find). Luckily we got someone on the doorbell camera after several tries. Booking description needs to be changed. Again, not an issue if known beforehand.

The room in general was very clean and tidy. The managers obviously took great care to make you welcome. There was a cabinet outside the front office that had extra toiletries, coffee pods, bath towels, etc. for when the office was closed. Very convenient and they also had a bowl of various chocolates out for you.

I am a big man and in my room #10 I was unable to use the shower. The outside bathroom wall and the shower wall were only 18" apart. Fortunately my brother's room had a different layout and I was able to use theirs. I just know to request that room next time.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The property out back was awesome. I wish I had more time to explore the trail in the back.

I didn’t sleep that great. At first I thought the bed was good. Maybe it was from the 4 nights prior of sleeping on a horrible mattress somewhere else. My partner and I both tossed and turned all night. I wish the shower was bigger. As a bigger guy I struggled a bit—definitely could never fit two people.

This was a very sweet little place to stay. Everything looks new. The bed was so comfy I woke up thinking I was at home. My husband even liked the coffee in the room and he is particular! We had to drive a couple miles back into town for dinner which was amazing. Went to Rapid River Bar and Grill and being Friday night, they had an excellent fish fry, although their menu had lots of good selections. Drinks were $3.50 (wine/whiskey) which is unheard of. We will definitely stay there again if we travel that way.

Only thing missing was an ice machine.

Easy check-in and location. Our dog was warmly welcomed with us. Comfortable beds, with good facilities in the bedroom (frigo, coffee machine, etc). It has a backyard with apparently some hiking trails and a fire pit, even though we have not used those. Restaurants are 5min driving from this property. Lastly, the warm and good black coffee next morning was really good, specially the fresh banana bread. Thank you!

The place was cozy, clean, and comfy. The hosts were great at communicating and responded really quickly. The room was spacious, and the hammocks outside were a nice touch. I've stayed in both a double queen (2023 arriving at 12:30 a.m.) and a single queen (2024). Everything we needed was available both times. I shared this place with two other individuals who ended up staying as well.

This is informative only. The motel can't decide where roads go. Note: once I am awake, I typically never fall back asleep, regardless of where I am at. The morning traffic resulted in increased road noise. To mitigate this, consider using a noise machine or a noise-canceling app on your phone.

So happy we stayed here! Very clean room, cute decor, comfy bed. Big bathroom and easy temperature controls. As an added bonus we didn't think our stay included breakfast, but there is a lovely spread at the office. Coffee, bagels, cream cheese and jam, and other small things of that sort. Adding a picture here because I didn't see any reviews sharing photos of the breakfast spread. Would stay here again.

I don't do reviews, but I had to in this one. Hubby and i stayed here for Valentines Day Weekend, and It felt homey and very comfortable. I like that it had like real sheets u buy for your home. And it had good coffee and actual coffee mugs, not the cheap stuff most hotels use. Also, extra regular cups for your drinks. The towels were nice and soft, not ur regular hotel towels either. It had bin by office for extra stuff you may need. Check-in was so easy, with no paperwork like usual. We arrived and were able to get in our room like right away.... outside there tqo chairs in front of every room with a table in between them and ashtray. That will be perfect when the nice weather arrives. It's seriously like ur home away from home. That's what it felt like to me. I didn't feel like I was in a motel... there also a fireplace in back and wood if you wanted to do a fire. The owner texted me to check up on me, which i thought was nice. You're left alone without the cleaning people asking if u need anything that's what the bin by office is for ... all your extra towels and coffee supplies, etc.. it also has room darking curtains, which my hubby loved makes room super dark, lol.... it is on the main highway, but noise did not bother us from people driving. You can barely hear them. It is a very quiet area and peaceful. I can't wait to stay here in the summer. We ate a bar for fish and it was delicious 😋 Also the brochures need to be updated.... this is like a 10 out of 10 place. I highly recommend

Just like everyone else said it is hard to get in shower.

We enjoyed the room and we're VERY thankful to the staff for having the air conditioning going on the room when we arrived. Honestly, that act of kindness was so appreciated. The beds were so comfortable, and we loved the bathroom setup. We both enjoyed the classic look and feel of a roadside motel with the wonderful modern convenience.

The room has a cigarette smell to it and set off my asthma.

Room is clean. Bed is comfortable. This is a self service facility. They provide you with a code and you help yourself to what you need such as additional towels, toilet paper, tissue etc located in the office.

The shower has very low water pressure. It was hard to adjust the hot & cold water knob in shower. You can hear some of the road traffic in your room
