Everything about this gem of a three generation hotel across the Chateau de Fontainebleau was perfect. Indescribably elegant, understated chic and comfortable rooms with the dreamiest bed and linen. The owners are two brothers who are discreet, attentive, kind and professional. They know Fontainebleau inside out. One of the prettiest hotels we've stayed in for a long time la.

In the room, the coffee on offer is not up to date. For such an otherwise perfect hotel if you are in a hurry and can't stay for breakfast it would have been so much better to install a little Nespresso machine with capsules instead of freeze dry powder. And descale that kettle please.

We found this to be the perfect location for Fontainebleau, we had a room at the front with a glorious view of the Chateau and after a long road trip all over Europe we felt immersed in the history and beauty of the place as soon as we arrived. It was easy to find being right on the square in front of the Chateau and parking was easy. The building itself was elegant, historic and beautifully furnished with a small library of books, an honesty bar stocked with excellent wine and a panelled living room where my son and his daddy enjoyed a game of chess. We received a warm welcome and got some great tips for bouldering and walks in the forest which my son absolutely loved.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel de Londres in Fontainebleau. Everything was perfect—from the warm and friendly staff to the unbeatable location right across from the château. My room had breathtaking views of the château, was exceptionally quiet, and provided a truly relaxing atmosphere. Quite spacious too. The hotel’s charm and attention to detail made for a great experience.

The breakfast was good, though I would have appreciated a bit more variety in the options. That said, it was a minor point in an otherwise flawless stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Fontainebleau!

Friendly and attentive owners and staff. Great location. Clean and good size roam. Modern shower and bathroom. Practical hotel if you are not too demanding. I would probably return if I am coming back to Fontainblaue. Everyday they put one free water bottle.

No elevators (for humans). They have their cable machine to hold your luggage to the higher floors which I thought was unique and authentic but not very practical as it requires a human operating it. Maybe they have constraints in dealing with this nice building. Breakfast was limited but good enough, they also accommodate requests for gluten allergies. It would be good too to have English (or other languages) Channels in the tv as it was all French.

The Hotel de Londres is in a perfect location to explore Chateau Fontainebleau. We had a lovely view of the chateau from our room. The room and all facilities were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were courteous, friendly, and very helpful. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was well equipped. We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel de Londres!

The only slight blemish on this wonderful hotel was that the in-room tea/coffee making was a little lacking. We would have liked something more than paper cups to make our morning coffee/tea.

The location of this historic hotel is ideal. It faces the Palace of Fontainebleau and we had views of the Palace from our room. Our room has great - large and very comfortable bed and all the facilities that are needed. Viewing the Palace with heads on the pillows was quite special. Breakfast is extra but definitely recommended. Could not fault the breakfast. The sitting room is very tastefully done and a pleasant place to spend some time. The only suggestion here is perhaps to provide the option of a glass of wine to enjoy in this space. The staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and efficient. No restaurant but plenty of options in the town and visitors should certainly walk around the town.

Everything was perfect so nothing to record here. The only slight observation is the additional charge for parking but not a big issue.

Superbly comfortable hotel with a spacious room and bathroom and a lovely street view. Breakfast was superb and service was excellent. I loved the decor of the hotel with its beautiful antiques and elegant furnishings. A real gem! The location could not have been better! It was across the road from the famous Fontainbleau Palace so that it was easy for us to visit the Palace a few times during our stay. It was also an easy walk to restaurants,shops and the market square. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel with a historical touch. Pleasant service. Extremely well located just in front of the main entrance of the castle, with a nice view on the castle from our room. Good breakfast. No light pollution at night thanks to shutters+ curtains.

Fair warning: no elevator (that was not a problem for us). Mattress maybe a bit too soft.

Charming and elegant boutique hotel. Lovely decor and ambience with welcoming and helpful.staff. Across the road from the Chateau and right in the heart of town for restaurants, shops, etc. Delicious breakfast in a lovely dining room. Spacious king-sized bed with fresh crisp.linen. Highly recommend.

A step in bath/shower but that's just me!

From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed. The hotel is in a superb position directly opposite Fontainebleu, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. The hotel is high quality with a great attention to detail in every way. Rooms are beautiful with everything you need, excellent bathroom and the secure parking is right next to the hotel. Breakfast was delightful with plenty of choice and good quality produce. This hotel is made even more special by the people working there, a family owned hotel going back 3 generations shows in the friendly and professional care you receive, special thanks to Bruno and also Matteo who was a delight throughout. If in Fontainebleau this is the only place to stay! Thank you 🥰
