Amazing place to stay. The owners Bec and Pete were super friendly and welcoming. They have a cool games room downstairs with pool and darts. The building itself is charming and had some nice ales on tap Great value for money and good advice given on where to grab food in town. Room was clean and comfortable... Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Laugharne 🙏🙏

Very warm welcome and friendly. All staff were helpful and were easy to find. Given free milk & cereal for our stay. Appreciated the fridge in our family room.

Our daughter found the bunk bed mattress a bit lumpy, but got used to it.

Lovely location you can walk down into Laugharne but its only a short drive to tenby, Saundersfoot etc room was spotless although needs a little updating. The food was amazing and would highly recommend it, the best Gammon I have ever had. All the local people and the owners were so friendly pub is cosy with a beautiful open fire

If your looking for a nice quiet getaway then this is in the idea spot, the carpenters arms makes a great base for your trip/holiday. We stayed in the family room which was very spacious, complete with a table and chairs, a fridge and a kettle with complementary tea and coffee. The fan came in handy in the hot weather we had and the TV was a great for keeping the kids entertained in the mornings and evenings. As the area is quiet we were relying on the pub below for our dinner however when we were there (through no fault of the owner) the pub was shut so we did have to travel a bit further to grab some lunch. But we didn't mind at all. We had a great time and will definitely be staying here again.

The staff were incredibly kind, well -organised and welcoming. I arrived late at night when trains were late and it was cold and raining. They organised a taxi and had a yummy hot meal waiting . Marvellous. Bed was comfy .

Some carpentry and painting touch ups need to be finished.

It was quiet outside (we were in room 5 at the back), the bed was comfy, the proprietor was keen to help if we needed anything. The fridge meant we were able to provide our own breakfast.

An extension cable was plugged into another extension cable which seemed a bit dodgy from a safety perspective. The bathroom fans from the other rooms could be heard quite loudly through the walls, but we got used to it.

Very welcoming staff and service in bar was excellent. Loved watching Wales win the rugby on TV, along with the very friendly locals. Fabulous breakfasts tailored to our dietary requirements. Easy access to rooms with separate entrance from pub. Good location, plenty of parking and short walk into Laugharne centre.

Bathroom needs a bit of TLC and somewhere to put toiletries rather than on the floor.

A friendly landlord. The pub looked attractive but we were off to a family gathering so had no time to try it. Comfy bed and hot shower.

The room was a bit chilly. Although it was Easter it was cold and wet and the radiators weren't on.

Great food and good selection, same for drinks. Reasonable prices. Good room and bathroom Tv and free wifi. Staff very pleasant and helpful

A gold location in Laugharne. Food was good and the management were brilliant. Had some good interactions and we were given suggestions on the local area.
