We had early access to our room, which was nice, as we had just come off of a cruise ship. The room had a double and queen bed in it, giving us lots of room, the beds were comfy. The place could do with upgrading in some places, but for the price, was worth it. There was one restaurant/bar in walking distance, ( my husband uses a walker) but is more if you have a car. The owners are very nice, and the housekeeping lady ver nice too, she offered to drive me to a grocery store. There was coffee/tea and breakfast items at breakfast.

The area was partly in an industrial area, It could do with some updating

Location was perfect, a short trip from the airport and also very close to the cruise port. Friendly staff, even got some bottled water and cookies at check in. A few restaurants/fast food and groceries & CVS about 10 blocks away, easy to walk to. Good breakfast choices in the lobby in the morning.

Surrounding area was mostly discount airport parking and car rentals, etc so not attractive, though the courtyard at the hotel was very pleasant with some pretty plants.

I really liked my stay here! The family who looks after it is very sweet, and it's clear they put a lot of love & care into this hotel. It looks like they recently did some aesthetic upgrades on the rooms. It's the opposite of big bland chain hotels and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Super close to the cruise port and the airport.

The room was on the small side, for me alone for 1 night this was fine though, and I think they have some bigger room types available. Proximity to the airport also means you can hear some planes taking off- but they don't go too late or too early.

I recently stayed at Haven Hotel for a short visit, and I had a pleasant overall experience. The motel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute drive from the airport and 7 minutes to the port, making it an ideal choice for our stay. The room was comfortable and well worth the price I paid. The bathroom is well-suited for an average-bodied person, and while it may be a bit snug for those who are larger or taller, it was perfect for my needs. I was simply looking for a place to rest before catching a flight home, while my colleague was heading directly to the port for a cruise vacation, so it worked well for both of us. For convenience, we decided to order food through Uber Eats. The manager was incredibly kind and went out of his way to bring our meals directly to our room, which was much appreciated. Additionally, the motel offers utensils and menus in the main office for guests who prefer not to use delivery apps. After dinner, we took a peaceful stroll through the motel's quiet courtyard area. I felt completely comfortable walking around at any time of the day. Mike, the gentleman working in the office, was very thoughtful and reminded me about the complimentary breakfast, which included coffee, and boxed cereals. This was a perfect quick snack before heading out. For those looking for a heartier breakfast, there’s a diner right around the corner as well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this motel. It's quiet, quaint, and offers great value for the price. I will definitely be returning in about six months. Highly recommend it for those looking for a comfortable, no-frills place to stay.

I am a big review reader so when I have an opinion on a place I always make sure I try to leave a review. I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel! First thing is the location! It is super close to the airport and the cruiise port terminal which is what we needed. We also learned after booking our rental car that the hotel was two blocks away. We were so able to get an early check in which made everything so much better! We had a king size bed and a futon and a nice bathroom in our room. It was like having our own little apartment for just the day and a half that we were there! Highly recommend! Five stars.

Small, family owned business. The staff is accommodating and kind. The rooms are simple, but comfortable. We enjoyed having a good working A/C, refrigerator and coffee maker in the room and plenty hot water in the shower. The rooms are laid out around a water fountain in a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs. There was plenty of parking and we felt safe. It it is very close to the Cruise Port and Airport. We will stay here again on our next visit to Fort Lauderdale. Not a fancy chain hotel; good value and we enjoy supporting a small family businesses.

Not many restaurants, stores or retail nearby. We did not have a car and wanted to walk around. We found a pod of food trucks a few blocks away, near the Crown Plaza Hotel and ate at "La Picana". It was excellent!

Convenient location for cruising or flying with Gold Coast Parking storage across the street. Very cute old style Florida motel that has been well maintained. The provided breakfast was well done considering the limited space.

For most guests being able to have a good night sleep is top priority. The mattress here was quite comfortable but the bedding was not. The sheets appeared to be older and felt rough with some torn areas. The sheet seemed too short for the bed and could only be pulled up to chest level. With upgraded bedding I would highly recommend Haven Hotel to the budget minded traveler.

Young man at the reception desk was very accommodating. Our flight was very late and as a result we did not arrive at the hotel until after midnight. He waited up for us and got us in our room quickly. Very basic room but clean and the bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was very nice ( cereal, yogurt, muffins etc,). There was no table in our room but the patio area had tables and chairs. Would stay again as it is so close to airport and cruise port.

Very close to the airport: I was able to get the number 1 bus to and from Ft Lauderdale international airport super easily (about a ten minute ride, only one stop). The hotel was also pretty close to the PYT and Resolve maritime training centres where I attended a course. Great service from the desk as well as fully working AC, hot water, clean sheets and a very clean room. No complaints!

Needed a clean, safe place to spend part of a night before a cruise and this was perfect! Close to airport and cruise port-less the $12 each way on Uber. Checked in very late-room is older but VERY clean and more then perfect for a place to sleep a few hours. Quiet and clean-and way better priced then some of the "cruise friendly" hotels nearby. We will definitely stay again before another cruise.

Pillows were very thin..could use refresh or extras...but not something that would deter us from staying again-we will be back!
