We spent 9 days at Lalapanzi as a couple. Previous reviews have already said everything positive and encouraging about the accommodation. We agree 100% with all of them. Particularly worth mentioning is the friendliness of the staff, the wooden architecture of the house, and the exceptional location overlooking False Bay. We felt right at home. There is absolutely nothing negative to say. We can give it a 100% recommendation. On a future stay in the region, we will definitely book Lalapanzi again.

Beautiful location with great views. Clean rooms and great bathrooms! There was no power in the area due to a storm but the staff / management switched on their generators for a few hours in the day so we could use the kitchen facilities. Breakfast was delicious.

There was a storm the weekend we stayed so driving out to the self-catering lodges was a bit of an extra unexpected distance at night with no lights - but the views during the day were worth it! Security was a bit complicated and our codes didn't work to get in and out.

Beautiful location set about 6 miles North of Somerset West and in an idyllic location, looking out to Cape Point and nestled among pine trees. Sunsets were spectacular! Lovely freshly cooked breakfast, especially the French Toast. Fruit, yogurts and cereals etc are on offer too. If you don’t mind cooking definitely order the braai pack. Comes with really good meat, salad, potatoe salad and garlic bread. Rose and the team were just so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you! Just a wonderful place to relax after such a hectic holiday and easy to get to the airport. (40minutes)

I loved the entire feel of the place. It was just what we had been looking for to rest. Loved the cabin/lodge so cozy. Oh and Rose was the perfect thoughtful host!❤️❤️ She made us feel so welcome and comfortable during our entire stay there! Thank you Rose for taking care of us and anticipating our every need. I hope to see you again soon! I can not wait to get back there this time hopefully for longer...5 days seemed to just fly by too fast!

Great property, comfortable and clean, and well-maintained. The views are breathtaking, seeing the sunset over false bay is a sight not to miss. Property is remote so you get peace and quiet, and the stars at night are beautiful to see. Some great wineries around (e.g. Idiom). The staff are fantastic, very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The food at the venue, although limited options, was very tasty. There are some walking paths around the property, but did not do them so will not comment.

Property is a bit removed, so you need a car to get to nearby stores or restaurants etc. To be honest this was not a problem as we spent most of our time at the lodge.

If I could give this place a billion stars I would. The views are spectacular. Mountains, sea view and forest all in one sight. Lalapanzi exceeded my expectations. The manager, Rose, is fantastic. She texted us a message daily just to make sure we were okay. The place is extremely clean and very functional. I loved the wood fired hot outside. Everything was well thought. I will. Without a flinch, I highly recommend Lalapanzi.

You have to drive to the shops & restaurants and to the beach not that far away. Great view from the place over the bay.The place It looks exactly like the photos and everything was spotless inside. The view is amazing! Beautiful trees one side and amazing coast view on the other. Rose was wonderful and so welcoming. We arrived a bit late due to our flight but she waited patiently for us. The property is in a secure estate and we felt very safe. The room was wonderful with a very comfy bed. We had a great nights rest. We had a tasty breakfast the next morning before our departure.

This was our second visit to Lalapanzi Lodge and we enjoyed it every bit as much as the first time. The lodge has a superb location high on a hill in the midst of a pine forest overlooking Gordon's Bay in the distance. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Rose and her team are excellent hosts and go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay possible

The property is on a secluded estate with a farm feel. Lots of trees giving it a forest feel. Loved the views and a combination of the Table Mountain View and the beach view. Absolutely stunning.

I think they can invest in better and cleaner looking towels. White towels looking brown is not it for me. I could have used my own towels throughout the stay because I couldn’t tell if they were dirty or discoloured.
