Restaurants were very nice but food selection was a bit all over the place and not special...unlike surrounding wine farm property restaurants which were amazing . Everything else really top class and would thoroughly recommend .

The staff was excellent, friendly and efficient (especially the restaurant staff). The food is exceptionally good. At a fair price. The luxurious finishes in the rooms are very European quality and in Africa, a very pleasant experience. The fact that no loadshedding was experienced, was also a sigh of relief.

Even though the finishes are at a very high standard, the water / plumbing is very sad to say, poor. It is impossible to shower in room 6 as the water temperature is either very hot or very cold (never in the middle), and the taps do not allow for easy temperature adjustment. So much so, that it can take up to 5-10min to set the taps to a desired temperature as it is by touching the tap, either burning hot or super cold. This however is a fractional comment since one does not shower all day long.

The staff. Your beautiful property is complemented by exceptional staff. Wow! My heart is full of gratitude for the warm welcome, genuine kindness, and the sense of belonging I experienced during my stay. It honestly felt like being home with family. I felt like I was not just a guest but a cherished presence, I think I speak for all your guests on this. Please take care of your staff, they are magical! It’s perfect, I didn’t want to leave.

the rooms were spacious and well located, our hah a patio with loungers and table and chairs. room quality good although the bathrooms are dated.Loved teh outside restaurant for breakfast and early evening drinks, plus food good. staff great, at ease with guests and very friendly and helpful. facilities good shame there is no gym but pool area by spa very peaceful. teh three wine estates within walking distance are all lovely especially Lourensford.

its outside Erinvale estate and you are not allowed in- very unfriendly security guards at the estate entrance. we did not realise this when we booked.

Very pretty hotel. Really delightful outside eating area. It’s in a very nice residential area (a drive from the coast) and it’s much cheaper than the high end hotels in Cape Town that’s a 40 minute drive away. It’s ideally placed for the airport which is just about 30 mins away. Very tastefully decorated and the gardens within the complex are really lovely.

Bathroom was really tiny but we were only staying one night so wasn’t a problem. Pool is pretty small but adequate for a dip! Lovely pool area however with comfy loungers.

I was only given my spa discount in my room when I went straight to spa at 2pm so it would have been useful to get this from reception. Breakfast options seemed a bit limited eg I was not offered any eggs or hot food beyond the buffet.

The staff were exceedingly helpful. Our stay was beyond perfect in every possible way. The estate is exceptionally beautiful. The rooms are the perfect blend of old and new. Classy and sophisticated. The bathrooms are beautiful and in perfect condition. The food was perfectly fresh and delicious with massive variety. The entire stay was an experience from start to end. We loved it so much for our first night of our honeymoon that we had to book a night at the end of our honeymoon aswell

The WiFi reception in our room #10 could have been a bit better but it was still good enough to stream series on the TV.

Very beautiful, nice public areas, really went out of their way to accommodate our special requests. Tasty food, good service. Cool vibes, great music. Netflix in rooms!

Newly opened restaurant smelled of paint. Didn’t feel like there was a bar as all areas had people eating. Pool right alongside a restaurant so didn’t feel comfortable swimming.

peaceful and tranquil Gardens a splendour to walk around in Breakfast under the oak tree a wonderful experience but the food we got served as room service from the kitchen was amazing delicious and so appreciated as we had spent the whole day at a hospital that had poor basic food and we had not arrived back at the hotel early in time to book a table at any of the Restuarants The hotel served us supper of our choice in our room with speed and splendid quality Thank you to the staff and cooks

The tranquil position of the hotel and its friendly and accommodating staff. the cleanliness and beautiful gardens and surrounds.

Two changes if possible, proper size standard pillows for beds as found they had very small narrow soft pillows too small and flat. then there should be a trellis with pretty creeper between bedroom suites verandahs as no privacy if sitting outdoors on your verandah.
