The place has a lovely, authentic vibe—simple, clean, and just as pictured. The staff were always warm and helpful. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the old town. We also loved the rooftop terrace—the breakfast with that beautiful view was a real highlight. Note: you’ll need to walk about 3 minutes through alleys from the main road (Bab Al Souq) to reach the house, since taxis can’t get all the way there. But that’s the same in the whole old town and part of its charm! Our room was cozy and had a beautiful view from the window. The only downside was the A/C—it wasn’t the strongest, but luckily the weather was nice so it didn’t bother us much and we didn’t complain. Overall, it was a lovely short stay and a great base to explore the beautiful city.

It was truly a wonderful place .
It is located in an area relatively close to Bab Souk.
Communication with the hotel owner was very smooth and kind, which was a great help to me.
They also perfectly managed our transportation to the hotel, which we had been worried about.
When we arrived at the CTM drop-off point, the owner’s brother greeted us with a smile, arranged a taxi, and guided us to the hotel.
The breakfast was excellent as well.
I was happy to enjoy Moroccan home-style dishes and mint tea on a comfortable terrace.
The towels in the room were changed daily, which I appreciated.
They even helped carry my heavy suitcase.
The staff were truly warm-hearted, making it a very pleasant experience.
If you stay in Chefchaouen, I absolutely recommend staying here!

Well, the best and most important thing we can say about this stunning little gem of a hotel is that it is the BEST HOTEL in Chefchauan! If you choose to stay here, you will have the best time ever... :) The little motto at the front of the hotel says it all... very thoughtful with a deeper meaning that tells everyone to enjoy living today, don't wait till tomorrow. This little quaint hotel is tucked away in a quiet beautiful alley away from the busy main alleyways. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by two very friendly men who treated us like royalty. We were shown our lovely room and offered a different room if we would like to change. But we were extremely happy with our budget twin room, it was large enough to put all of our luggage and the bathroom was nice and worked very well. The beds were extremely comfortable and warmer blankets were there if we needed them for the cooler nights. We slept so well every night and looked forward every morning to enjoying our breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The views are stunning and breathtaking.... looking across towards the Kasbah and the blue city below and the Spanish mosque high on the hill above. Breakfast was yummy, fried eggs or an omelette, plenty of different types of bread, soft cheeses, olives, jam and honey. Tea, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Just delicious! My husband and I were relaxing on the rooftop terrace one afternoon and the wonderful, friendly owner came up and offered us some fresh grapes from his grape vine and asked us if we'd like to enjoy some tea. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality accommodation in a beautiful part of the city. We would give this hotel 10 stars, thank you to all the friendly staff we met during our magical stay there. We hope to come back and see you soon.

We LOVED everything!!

Good location in the Medina and reasonable size room with nice breakfast on the terrace or inside when cold. Staff was helpful in organizing a car to pick us up from a train station about 2 hours away across the mountains. Meeting us on arrival at the taxi drop of to take our bags and similarly organizing taxi and helping on departure. Gave good restaurant recommendations.

Was noisy early one morning with guests at the time. Also had one evening/night without hot water which could have been better communicated since we only found out there was a problem being fixed after getting in the shower.

The location is very close to the famous Bob Souk gate which is the main entrance of the Medina. Once you get off from the taxi outside the Medina, it's a quick 5 mins walk to the hotel. The staff was kind to come and pick us up from the Medina gate, and helped me to catch a taxi at 6:30 am in the morning to go to the CTM bus station.

The rooms are not as much spacious as they appear in the photos. However, I feel that the same could be the situation at other properties which are inside the Medina.

The staff was fantastic. The breakfast was the best we had during our 2 week stay in Morocco. This is a city you have to experience, it was fantastic. We felt safe at all times. Very clean and you could even do laundry.

We travelled as two women on single beds, the beds were a bit small but still comfortable. I did not like having to park so far away as I was restless about the car but rest assured it will be safe. You will park far from all Riads not only this one.

The host was very responsive, he gave clear instructions to arrive at parking, he came to pick us up from there and helped to deal with the parking too. Room was clean and the location of the stay is perfect. Everything in Chefchaouen is accesible by foot from this stay. Breakfast was very good too.

The terrace and the view from there doesn't look like the pictures in the advertisement description. Floor wasn't so clean. Toiletries, hair dyer, etc aren't available. But there were mentioned in list of facilities.

The location is perfect, book it blindly. Its located on the main street within the main market.The guy comes to pick you up from the stop, so locating is not an issue. The staff are very helpful and also arranged a private taxi for us to Tanger. Made sure our stay was comfortable. Good variety of breakfast.

Nothing to dislike.

The location of this place is great, but like everywhere in Chefchaouen you have to climb plenty of stairs! It was easy to find using Google maps. Plenty of shops in the street but you have to go to the main square for food (maybe 5 minutes). This dar has the traditional opening in the middle, but unlike the riads, it is covered. We had a window towards the opening and to the street, while our second room had windows with amazing views over the city. The roof terrace has a great view over the city and is perfect for sunsets. Breakfast was good, served on the terrace so a bit cold in December.

Beds were quite hard. Although booked for 3, we had towels for two and no toilet paper in any of the rooms (we had to go and get it at reception). Staff was not so easy to find.

To begin, the room was comfortable, quite, and cozy, with a great set of windows and view of the city. The rooftop had great seating and an equally beautiful vista. The staff is super welcoming and helpful, breakfast was great, and they greeted us with tea. Prime location right in the heart of the Medina, but quiet and calm at night. Would stay here again and again.

Wish we could have stayed longer.
