Best Riad in Chefchaouen by far!! Everything was perfect, their deco is super pretty and the bed’s comfort was 10/10. Starting the day with a great breakfast in the rooftop and getting some recommendations for places to visit/restaurants and even some interesting facts about Chaouen! All made possible by the best receptionists aka Abde and Amjad 😊 they even helped picking me up at night because my bus arrived late. So yes I highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A new place with stunning views during su rise and sunset. Situated right in the centre of medina this place is close to all the tourist destinations. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The stay was comfortable and would stay here if I ever visit Chaouan again.

A beautiful riad in the blue medina. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and fresh and the room was lovely, spacious and clean. The terrace was incredible, with a spectacular view of the city and mountains! A little less intimate and a little more private than most riads we had stayed at on our trip (less like a B&B, more like a hotel)…but just what we were looking for. The staff was also great with helping us plan our stay, giving us tips on where to walk, hike, eat and even how to journey to Akchour for the amazing waterfall hike. A truly great spot!

Not really a negative, but riad was not on Google maps (as of Jan 2025). There was definitely a moment where we were worried it was a scam of some kind. But happy to report the property is very real and very beautiful and the staff is the absolute best!

The property is centrally located enabling people to spend more time around the beautiful lanes of chefchaouen.The highlight is the height of the Riad which gives an open mountain view overlooking the city of chefchaouen.Everything right from the time of check in till the check out was perfect .The staff is extremely accommodating and helpful .The food and breakfast served on the terrace with is beautiful view made us fall in love with the place .We felt at home during our stay at the Riad .The Manager Anass is very kind ,he made our stay very special by going out of his way to do everything we asked for . He got us the kind of food we liked , provided us with a hair dryer ,was always available and ready to help . We forgot some stuff at the Riad which was sent to us in different city . Overall great experience .It is the staff which made our Chefchaouen visit a memorable one .We would be able to do it without Anass and his team at Riad Alhambra … We highly recommend this place . We would come back again …

The terrace and friendly staff ..

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Alhambra. The riad is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has an amazing rooftop view. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were really lovely. Thank you to Anass and the whole team, and special shout out to Omar, who came to collect us and helped with luggage up to the property, gave recommendations and was always smiling and in a good mood. We would happily stay here again!

We loved our stay. A couple of minor improvements would be to have a bigger mirror in the room for getting ready while the other person is in the bathroom, and it would have been nice to have a bedside lamp for reading before bed. Otherwise it was perfect!

What a beautiful and authentic place this Riad is! Full of character and a credit to the Moroccan architecture. It has a prime location and amazing views from the top terrace (where the breakfast is served). The breakfast itself is served with attention to the Moroccan traditions and serve bio and home made products. The customer service was outstanding and the parking arrangements were very helpful. Hotel staff meet you at the parking lot and can help with your laguage up to the hotel. Highly recommend this place.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself, but Chefchaoun is a hilly area and getting to this Riad could be a problem for guests with reduced mobility or parents with babies in pushchairs.

The staff were lovely and helpful, going so far as to fetch us from our taxi drop off and carrying our heavy suitcases up to the riad. Our room was clean and cozy, with adequate heat that we could adjust to our liking. The rooftop view was beautiful, in a very pretty and new riad. Great location in a quiet yet pretty central part of the medina, and surprisingly easy to find after getting lost in Chefchaouen.

It needs a better system for guests to enter the riad. There was only one person manning the desk at any time, so if they left to run an errand or anything, then there was no way to get in. Also, having an earlier breakfast start time would be helpful - 8am seems so late (but that may be just the norm in Morocco) - as we like having an early start to exploring. There was construction work happening in the courtyard that was quite disturbing, hopefully it won't go on for long.

Navigating our way into Chefchaouene by car was quite a challenge so our welcome and overall experience at Riad Alhambra was a breath of fresh air! We parked in the town, as directed, then were met by the charming receptionist who escorted us and our bags up the winding walkways to the riad, tucked away in a side street. The riad is relatively new and is pretty and bright - just like Chefchaouene itself. Our room was lovely and we were welcomed with mint tea and snacks on the roof terrace. Riad Alhambra offers dinner too and we decided to book in as we planned to explore the town and the souk for the rest of the afternoon. The food was absolutely delicious, served by the friendly staff on the terrace where we watched the sun set, albeit wrapped up warm on a late February evening! Breakfast was equally good the next day and our whole experience - the wonderful staff, the lovely surroundings, the attention to detail, - suggests that the team here is committed to exceeding guests' expectations by delivering excellent hospitality.

Room is quite clean and full of sunshine. The roof terrace is amazing as well and has pretty good view. I photoed evening glow and morning glow there. Breakfast is good and provides goat cheese which is my favorite cheese. The Riad is running by 3young guys who obviously are willing to try new things. They made a QR mode for everyone to enter Wi-Fi much easier. Just scan it and do not spend time to type the password and face Capital letters trouble. Cool! They timely response to the requests. When I arrived, the 2 parking lots they recommended had no place to park already since it was weekend. While I cannot pull over the car because of the traffic. I called them for help. They said they would arrange another parking lot for me and would meet to guide me in 3 minutes. Actually they did as they said. I can image they hang up the phone, rushed out the door, run to meet me without any delay. So, I did not have to drive the car around and around. I would like to say they are so good. So, 10/10.

We stayed at Riad Alhambra in the Blue City (Chefchaouen), Morocco, for two nights, and it was absolutely perfect! Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The riad is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with excellent facilities, including good internet access. The staff—three incredibly kind and helpful gentlemen—made our experience unforgettable. They went above and beyond, assisting us with our luggage, offering great recommendations, and accommodating our requests for a late lunch and dinner. Their hospitality was outstanding, and they truly made us feel welcome. Chefchaouen itself is magical and absolutely worth at least two days of exploration. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco! If you’re planning to visit the Blue City, we highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and memorable experience.
