Best Riad in Chefchaouen by far!! Everything was perfect, their deco is super pretty and the bed’s comfort was 10/10. Starting the day with a great breakfast in the rooftop and getting some recommendations for places to visit/restaurants and even some interesting facts about Chaouen! All made possible by the best receptionists aka Abde and Amjad 😊 they even helped picking me up at night because my bus arrived late. So yes I highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A new place with stunning views during su rise and sunset. Situated right in the centre of medina this place is close to all the tourist destinations. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The stay was comfortable and would stay here if I ever visit Chaouan again.

I dunno where to begin, everything was exceptional! Allow to begin with the most important one - the staffs Abdou and Amjad. From the night before we arrived, they have been checking on us, updating and etc. we arrived and they we with us at every step, literally, because to get to the hotel is by climbing the steps 😂 Helpful, always sharing about everything, places to visit, local food, you name it. Location is perfect, you just need to brace yourself to walk/climb the stairs, but thats how to explore and experience Chaoen! Property is relatively new, so all is good. Foooooos, we had the best here and its gonna be difficult for others to compete! The bar is set high mow 🤩 All in all, we are extremely happy and will recommend everyone to stay here. Thank you for giving us the best experience.

At first, we were unhappy that we have to climb further up after the staffs welcomed us at the meeting point, but everything else changed the moment we stepped into the property. It was all worth it.

A beautiful riad in the blue medina. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and fresh and the room was lovely, spacious and clean. The terrace was incredible, with a spectacular view of the city and mountains! A little less intimate and a little more private than most riads we had stayed at on our trip (less like a B&B, more like a hotel)…but just what we were looking for. The staff was also great with helping us plan our stay, giving us tips on where to walk, hike, eat and even how to journey to Akchour for the amazing waterfall hike. A truly great spot!

Not really a negative, but riad was not on Google maps (as of Jan 2025). There was definitely a moment where we were worried it was a scam of some kind. But happy to report the property is very real and very beautiful and the staff is the absolute best!

Beautiful, very fresh riad. (So fresh that some parts are still a work in progress - not that this affected the stay in any way.). Staff are lovely. It’s right in the heart of the medina, but surprisingly quiet. Air conditioning works a treat in the hot summer.

As other reviewers have mentioned, breakfast time is a bit chaotic and needs a bit of fine-tuning. They seem to let people smoke where breakfast is served, which, depending on your sensibilities might be upsetting. Because it’s in the Medina, it’s tricky to get to - a host will come find you if you book privately and take you up when you arrive. When I say “up,” it’s a bit of a climb. Certainly not one you’d want to do if you had mobility issues or very large suitcases.

My stay at the hotel exceeded all expectations. The hospitality was truly outstanding, and the breakfast each morning was excellent—fresh, delicious, and satisfying. The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, like something out of a postcard. A special thanks to Amjad at reception, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He picked us up from our car, helped with our luggage, and was always available whenever we needed assistance. His attentiveness and kindness really made a difference. I would definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing experience.

We stayed in Room 6 upstairs with a gorgeous painted wood ceiling. It is new and nicely appointed. The shower had good heat and water pressure. The color schemes in the riad are great, the meals on the roof terrace (breakfast meal and night-time pizza) were pleasant (it can be a little chilly at night). The staff was very friendly and helpful (shout out to Omar!). We had a chance to meet the owner who told us of his plans to expand with more rooms. The other rooms we saw were also good, some bigger in size, but without the nice ceiling. You drop off in Hotel Parador area, contact the staff, and they will send someone to help porter and guide you up to the riad. They could also arrange for transfer from Fez or other cities.

One side of the bed didn't have much space. The shower curtain could be longer to prevent water leakage.

We had a truly memorable stay at Riad Alhambra for one night in Chefchaouen. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and welcoming. Omar met us at the main square and kindly carried our bags through the winding blue streets to the riad — a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture! Omar was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He gave us great recommendations on where to go and what to see in Chefchaouen, making sure we made the most of our short visit. His local knowledge really enhanced our experience and gave us insights we wouldn’t have found on our own. The riad itself was charming, peaceful, and beautifully decorated, offering a quiet retreat from the bustle of the medina. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and enjoyable. Initially, it leaned more towards the carb-heavy side, but Omar was very receptive to our feedback and made sure to think about including yogurt and fruit in the future , which we really appreciated. Overall, our stay was comfortable, authentic, and made special by the warm hospitality of Omar and the beautiful atmosphere of Riad Alhambra. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Alhambra. The riad is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has an amazing rooftop view. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were really lovely. Thank you to Anass and the whole team, and special shout out to Omar, who came to collect us and helped with luggage up to the property, gave recommendations and was always smiling and in a good mood. We would happily stay here again!

We loved our stay. A couple of minor improvements would be to have a bigger mirror in the room for getting ready while the other person is in the bathroom, and it would have been nice to have a bedside lamp for reading before bed. Otherwise it was perfect!

Riad Alhambra was the most beautiful riad we stayed in in Morocco. We received a great welcome and the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was wonderful and had everything we needed. The rooftop terrace has an amazing view over the beautiful Chefchaouen and the mountains, and the breakfast served there was delightful. Its location is relatively easy to navigate to and is close to all the main points of interest. In overall, we had the most wonderful stay in this riad and we can only recommend it. Definitely going to stay there again on our next visit of Chefchaouen!
