Ibtisam, Mohammed, Fatima and Bada made my stay exceptional. They were always very kind, friendly and accommodating, I felt like at home and very safe. La Casa is pretty with a few rooms and few people, perfect to rest, and it’s very easy to find following the Google Maps. I stayed in the first floor’s single room, which had a sound proof window, so I could sleep with no problem. The only thing I didn’t like was the wi-fi, which was very important to me as a remote worker and the main reason I chose this hotel due to its punctuation on that, but the signal didn’t enter my room if I closed the door, so I ended up working on the dining areas, which can get a bit cold at this time of the year…

Our 4 nights spent in Chefchaouen, and in Casa Sabila were absolutely magical. We stayed in Sofia room which I felt was the best room in the whole of Chefchaouen! Comfortable, beautifully decorated and with views right on to the busy street below (secret window!) We were lucky enough to be there during Eid Al-Adha so Chaouen was full of Moroccan tourists enjoying the holiday. Casa Sabila is located just on the Eastern edge of the Old Medina on the way to Ras el Maa small waterfall and then onwards to the Spanish Mosque where everyone goes to watch the sunset, it is the main thoroughfare in the evening and very lively! Sabila means fountain and everyone stops at the fountain on the steps right outside the front door. In fact every time we left, someone was taking a photograph of Casa Sabila as it is so beautiful. We also had the orange juice man right under our window. Casa Sabila is an oasis of cool and calm. Wonderful breakfast (flexible timings) on the terrace facing the mountains and the Spanish Mosque. The staff are all wonderful, friendly and helpful. Mint tea is available for free on request at any time. We're very grateful to Hamza for arranging our taxi to and from Tangier and to Mohammed for helping us to carry our bags to the Plaza! He also put us in contact with Adel, a local guide who we went to Akchour Waterfalls with which is a 45 minute drive and then mountains, waterfalls, cool mountain pools to discover. Not only did he guide us confidently and safely through the sometimes complicated terrain, we learned so much from him about local culture and he really went out of his way to make our time wonderful and memorable. Shukran 🙏
Absolutely nothing!

I had never written a review before, but I feel compelled to after my stay at this hotel, as the staff truly went above and beyond. Upon arrival, I unfortunately fell ill, but the hotel staff took such incredible care of me. They helped cool my head, hands, and feet, brought me drinks, and checked on me every few hours to make sure I was okay. I have never experienced such attentive and compassionate care at any hotel before. It really meant the world to me. The hotel is not only exceptional for its people but also for its amenities. Breakfast was served on the upper balcony with a stunning view, which made the experience even more enjoyable. While many hotels typically offer breakfast only in lower areas for convenience, here they brought it up, which was a fantastic touch. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure, which I personally loved. Thank you for an amazing stay! I will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Casa Sabila from 07/03-08/03/25. Casa Sabila is ideally located in the old city of Chefchaouen making it an ideal location to wander through the blue streets and explore the old city. Casa Sabila is a stunning hotel, beautifully decorated, well maintained, very clean, and comfortable bed and the room. Bathroom was beautiful, good shower and toiletries. We enjoyed the beautiful views from our room. We enjoyed the excellent Moroccan breakfast cooked to perfection, the best breakfast we had in Morocco. It was great having breakfast with candle light and next to a well lit warm fireplace. The staff were friendly, professional and provided helpful tips and suggestions. We like to Convery our deepest gratitude, appreciation and a massive thank you to the staff who work very hard to maintain high standards at Casa Sabila.
Nothing, everything was just perfect. :)

We stayed for one night in Chefchaouen and had a pleasant experience. A quick tip: I recommend traveling here with just a backpack, as reaching most hotels, including this one, can be quite challenging with heavy luggage. Even though it’s only a 5 to 7-minute walk, the street is steep and full of stairs. You can always ask for help (for a small fee), or if you have a private driver, they can assist or find someone to help you with your bags. The room itself was cozy and small, so again, big luggage isn’t ideal. Breakfast was nice and served on the terrace right in front of our room, offering a lovely view of the mountains. However, I would have appreciated a bit more variety in the breakfast options. Overall, I recommend this stay. It’s cozy and offers good value for money, especially if you’re looking for a charming experience in Chefchaouen!

Beautiful house full of character. All staff were very friendly and helpful, I found exchanging WhatsApp details with them ahead of arrival wonderfully helpful. I arranged pick up from my previous hotel and transfer to Casa Sabila through Casa Sabila and this was on time, comfortable and smooth, as was my onward transfer to the airport. Breakfast was amazing, fresh yogurt, cheese etc (not packaged), and good choice. We loved the location, far enough from the centre to be a little quieter, but only 5 minute walk to the kasbah in one direction and Ras el Ma in the other.
Nothing I didn't like.

Three friends and I visited Morocco in January and spent one night at the delightful Casa Sabila. It’s a small accommodation with a real feel of friendly intimacy. The young man (forgotten his name) who was our host couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The rooms are small, but the bed very comfortable and the water in the shower hot. It is extremely well located, enabling one to walk out the front door and explore charming Chefchaouen. I highly recommend it for independent travelers and small groups. One additional note – I created the itinerary for our group and based on what I read in travel reports, we spent only one night in Chefchaouen as writers frequently stated that there was not much to do and one night was sufficient. If I had to do the trip over – I would spend 2 nights there. Although there are not monuments and museums, what we loved about it was its accessibility. Given that it is a small village, we could wander about independently and find our way without worry – stopping to speak with local vendors and simply enjoy the ambiance. Moroccans are so very friendly, it was great fun to casually explore on our own.

Cosy little place at the end of the Medina (which is perfect if you want to avoid too much noise). Location was good, also easy to get to from the parking area (Parador). Breakfast was good (different variants of bread, egg, yoghurt and juice). Staff were all very friendly. We had a very nice chat with Whalid (incredible English skills and very nice), and he stoked the fire for us in the common room as it really was rather chilly and wet at the beginning of November.
Room and bathroom were a bit small. We were able to unload 2 suitcases but it was cramped. Bathroom really was a tight squeeze but we managed. The terrace is also slightly smaller than I anticipated but still nice to have breakfast.

Sweet guesthouse with clean and well-equipped rooms - the beds and pillows were wonderful. We stayed in January and very appreciated the extra think blankets and heater in the room. We loved everything about Casa Sabila from the kind staff who went out of their way to help us with our questions to the lovingly prepared breakfast which we thought was the best out of the 10 days of travel in Morocco. The location is great - on the way to the Spanish Mosque and still close to the main square. We only stayed one night but would love to return to stay longer next time.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Sabila and was thoroughly impressed with both the property and the exceptional service provided by the manager, Walid. From the moment I arrived, Walid was attentive, answering all of my questions with patience and ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable. He clearly takes great care in maintaining the property, as all facilities, including hot water, were consistently available and in perfect working order. His commitment to guests and attention to detail truly make Casa Sabila a standout. I would highly recommend staying here and feel confident that with Walid’s excellent management, the hotel is in great hands.
