This beautifully quaint little hotel has the most inviting feel, from the moment we set foot in it we felt at home. Yassine was the perfect host, very pleasant and helpful. The hotel decor is breathtakingly ornate, clean and picturesque. The wall art displayed is mesmerisingly beautiful and eye-catching. The hotel is cool, (in contrast to the heat of June) and a pleasant, fragrant breeze wafted throughout the building. The rooms were immaculately clean, bedsheets crisp and comfortable, even the bathroom smelled beautiful, which had my friend and I wondering what cleaning products the housekeeper had used! Although the hotel was in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Blue City, it was amazingly quiet and tranquil. The highlight of the building is the panoramic 360 degree views from the top floor terrace where we could sit and enjoy the scenery. Breakfast in this terrace added a unique feel of luxury. As for the breakfast, it is SUPERB! Fatima the housekeeper would cater for all tastes and needs. We felt at home in this gorgeous hotel and we would never stay anywhere else. This place is the embodiment of perfection itself.

The only negative aspect is that we didn't stay longer! I wish I could have spent a whole month here! WHY does this hotel not have 10 stars????

Well this is a very difficult review to write. Chefcaucin is not just any old city town, with traditional building and taxi access etc.. Hotel koutoubia building was probably constructed a few hundred years ago in a town on the side of a mountain, and then recently been converted to a hotel. Hotel koutoubia is is located in the blue city area, hence a taxi can only leave you on the outskirts, and you then have to navigate the narrow steep streets on your own, which is all part of the adventure. Im sure the hotel staff would meet your taxi and guide you to the hotel.i am relatively active and able bodied, but for those who are not, I wouldn't recommend a hotel in the centre of the old town. Hotel koutoubia and roomswas spotlessly clean,.the rooms are basic, with a comfortable bed, and good WiFi. No television or fridge in the rooms. The bathroom was clean and basic, but had for me, the all essential loads of hot water. Just due to the age and design of the building rooms not particularly sound proofed. An excellent breakfast was served on an enclosed roof terrace with amazing views. The reception staff where excellent and helpful.I hasten to add that all off the above comments about hotels location etc etc will apply to almost all other hotel within the old cities walls

Really nothing to complain about, if you keep in mind the age of the building and the owner has done a great job with it.

It was a super good hotel close to everything and the staff were so kind and helpful but I forgot his name but he advised us to go to Akchour it was so beautiful and has a beautiful waterfall also we thank Fatima for her breakfast and her kindness. We loved the blue city Chefchaouen it was one of the best places we visited in Morocco. We will be back again inchallah.

Staff (Yassim, Fatima, Reeda) were welcoming and helpful; Reeda and Yassim gave excellent restaurant recommendations, also directions to the walk up to the Spanish mosque. Breakfast was good and generous. Location was convenient to shopping and restaurants. I paid a little more, but I'm glad I booked the quadruple room. It had a small balcony with a beautiful view of the Spanish mosque and the city. In Morocco, having four beds was useful so we could spread out! I suggested to Yassim that he should submit new pictures to Booking because the place where we had breakfast looked so much better and brighter than the pictures.

The niceness and great treatment from the staff, the manager showed me around the city and gave me lots of advice, the young man at the counter was also very nice and got me a taxi when there very few, the cook is very polite also. The terrace is very cozy and the breakfast is tasty. Location is great and the room is clean and has a heater for the cold. Definitely recommend it.

One of the best things about the hotel was the location. Since the part of Chefchaouen where the famous blue houses are located cannot be entered by car, you have to carry your luggage by climbing the stairs in the narrow streets. So, you don't need to walk too much to reach the hotel till a car drops you in the center. Besides, the place has an authentic vibe and a nicely decorated terrace. The second best thing was the host. He was such a helpful person that he made us have a very pleasant stay in Chefchaouen with the travel tips he provided us with.

The rooms were a bit small to move around and put the luggage on the floor.

The location was excellent, and the breakfast on the terrace had great views and good food. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and warm blankets provided. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was small and not much space for our things. The bathroom also was small and the floor for wet with the shower (but plenty of hot water). The lamp and bedside light were broken, but the globes were replaced straight away.

Fantastic hotel to stay at in Chefchaouen. They have beautiful rooms, gorgeous designs, and amazing views. We opted for a room with a balcony and it did not disappoint. They also have a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast with orange juice, tea or coffee, croissants, omelette, and msemen, traditional Moroccan pancakes.

We couldn't set the temperature on the AC unit, so it was stuck there. It's also hard to leave in the morning and explore early since there is a locked door that requires a staff member to open and let one in.

We was Happy to stay in there, all town was visible from the terasia beautiful view of the town can be seen from the terrace, the breakfast is very tasty and filling, the service staff is friendly, we were satisfied with the cleanliness and order, the price is appropriate. We left the car in the parking for 30 Dirhams. we are very grateful for the comfort, we will definitely come back again! I recommend visiting this hotel.🌞💛🔔🙏🌻

Perfect location, very friendly staff, very good breakfast! The bed was comfortable and wi-fi worked well!

The bathroom was small and hard to keep it dry after shower. There are not many facilities in the room, such as slippers, toiletries or a kettle (these would be useful)
