I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Gernika during my recent trip to Chefchaouen, and I couldn’t have been more delighted with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the hotel’s peaceful ambiance and stunning views of the Rif Mountains captured my attention. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering excellent service throughout my stay. They were always happy to provide recommendations on local attractions and restaurants, making me feel like a part of the community. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with traditional Moroccan style, featuring intricate tile work and cozy, colorful rooms. My room was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a private balcony that offered sweeping views of the famous blue-painted streets of Chefchaouen.

Hotel Gernika is fantastic, and the owner and staff, too. It's a very special place, well located and with fantastic views. Perfect to recharge and disconnect. We were gently guided when we asked for advice respecting our interests and desires for this particular vacation. Hotel Gernika was the perfect base camp to explore the small town and the nearby national park with Youssef. Our stay was wonderful, and we are looking forward to coming back soon! I didn't like the way Booking approached us when we were there. It was very confusing. I would have rathered to book directly with the owner of the hotel.

This hotel is so pretty. A beautiful moroccan hotel with loads of character including a roof terrace you can over look the whole village. The location could not be more central in a beautiful cobbled street with the stalls directly outside the front door. My room was on a beautiful first floor over looking the street so was a little noisy until the stalls left for the night. I had ear plugs so no bother 🥰 We each got a lovely whatsapp from the hotel before our visit saying thanks for choosing our Hotel Gernika Chefchaouen, if you need any help don't hesitate to contact me. Very friendly and no trouble for them to direct our taxi driver to get us to the hotel from the parking area as it is situated in the center pedestrian part of town.

Everything was a top class. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The hotels roof terrace has wonderful views and has a wonderful peaceful atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and professional and they speak in many languages. I had an unforgettable trip and biggest thanks to Mr Bilal for warm welcome Highly recommended!

The property was excellent, it’s so beautiful and relaxing. we enjoyed sitting by the fountain reading books and relaxing. The staff were also fabulous. Mohamed was always so helpful and friendly, making us feel so welcome, as was who came to get us from our taxi so we didn’t get lost! we will definitely come back !!

i would definitely recommend and I would go back again, the location is excellent and the staff was very kind on the accommodation during our staying. They helped us to find a guide for a day tour in chefchaouen. The fantastic room was very spacious and beautiful decoration Hotel !

Everything was great, the hotel near to the main square 5min, about the Hotel is very decorations with amazing pieces, the terrace take you to another relaxing view, the staff was very helpful he reserve us a restaurant for dinner, and give us tips about the city, I recommend !

Great location, very helpful host, this beautiful Hotel met all the expectations. The host came out to the main gate to wait for us and take us to the Ryad and was extremely accommodating on our late arrival.
