This was perfect for my stay in Chefchaouen. It was a budget-friendly alternative, with the perfect location for me and very friendly service. It’s absolutely not a good option for anyone with mobility issues, or anyone who wants a large room and lots of space. But if you don’t mind the steps and quirkiness of the place, then you will enjoy it. For me, it was great that it wasn’t right in the main square, but a short walk from it. It was on a street with all sorts of shops and the location made it easy to explore the whole town in all directions. The room I got was the perfect size for one person without a lot of luggage, and even though the bed required a little bit of a climb, it was fun and cozy. Everything worked perfectly, hot water, internet, communication with the staff, and the breakfast was really delicious. It was made for me on the spot on the rooftop terrace. It gets chilly in winter, as it’s a town in the mountains, but the AC/heater works and there are great fluffy blankets to keep warm. The room even had a fridge, a TV and a nice sitting area, so it would have worked perfectly even for a longer stay. I really enjoyed my stay and I’m glad I booked. Will definitely visit again in the future!

Very beautiful designed interior with air conditioned rooms, good breakfast. View from the top of building is incredible amazing, excellent location. Please be mind of the guides around they will tell you its too far from main road, its not far from the main square, but yes there are stairs and some vertical ones too. Not good for carrying much luguage/ prams along with you. If you want to take more luguage, take different flat path to hotel, its not long and its much easy. Guides over there are really really bad people, stay away from them. For their 10-20 dirhams they will guide you wrong.

The riad was beautiful, every floor was decorated and fitted the colourful theme of the town. The terrace in particular has a stunning panoramic view of the entire town and the mountains, it really was the best view I have seen so far, simply breathtaking. It is perfectly located in the medina surrounded by the small traditional shops and close to the small waterfall but also close to one of the exits where most restaurants are and where you can get a taxi from. Although within the medina it is still relatively quiet. The best thing for us was the hospitality, the owner and our host were very friendly always ensuring we were comfortable and allowed us to stay after check out time. The atmosphere within the riad felt very warm and almost homey with everyone being very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We cannot recommend this riad enough, it added to the experience of an already beautiful town

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, great location!

The room was larger than expected, the staff was very nice with us and the position is perfect to visit the medina.

The bathroom had lots of problems: could not be closed from the inside, the toilet was leaking... We had booked the 10.15 bus for Fez, thinking that would leave us time to have breakfast at 9. But, breakfast is served. Though we arrived there at 9, we were the third to arrive and hence we did not have time and had to leave without breakfast. This is just to warn anybody who was thinking to do the same as us!

The accommodation is wonderful and traditional, we loved it very much. The receptionist (Mustafa) welcomed us as if we were in our own home. As for the breakfast, it was varied, delicious and fresh. They served it to us on the terrace overlooking the old city, and in front of us were mountains and blue houses that whet the appetite and relax the soul. As for the rooms, they have an authentic and traditional Chefchaouen style and have everything you need.

Nice staff. Beautiful riad. Rooftop have an amazing views. We have b/fast here. They clean your laundry for free. Good breakfast. The best so far. They give new room to us, big, on ground floor as we requested. Thank you! The riad is in the middle of medina. Really easy to walk around anytime. Near to lots of cafe and restaurant. Highly recommended!

The PAID car park is 5 min walk. The Riad cannot be contacted by whatapp call so we cannot call the staff to take our bags up to the hill. The riad located on the hill.

The staff is very kind and make an efford to make you feel comfortable. It was Ramadan and they treated us with a local soup on arrival. The room was comfortable and clean. The roof Terrace was the best place for the panoramic views and sunset pictures. The place is located in the center of the Medina and is convenient for reaching the mountains too. The breakfast was nicely served on the roof Terrace.

They need to improve for bed sheets. The sink in the bathroom was leaking at the bottom. The good think was that there was another sink in the room.

The hotel is nice and comfortable, the staff is helpful, and the breakfast is very good, the room is traditional and has all the necessary needs, as for the wonderful and large terrace, overlooking the entire old city, it has a view of the east and sunset is very wonderful

Mustapha and Faatimah cooked our breakfast; they were very kind, and even wrapped some snacks for us to take on our three hour journey back to Tangier on the coach. Muhammad (receptionist) was also very nice and gave us a wonderful welcome.. He allowed us to stay in the lounge whilst we had another few hours to wait for our coach. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Chefchouen in'sha'Allah. The staff in hotel Riad are as beautiful as Chefchouen itself.
