Absolutely lovely place to stay, we really loved it and stayed for a week. Peaceful, quiet, in the midst of the vineyards, alongside the Canal du Midi and Lac de Jouarres. The bird song was incredible, with woodland behind. Staff were so helpful, friendly and polite. We did have an issue with hot water and our shutter (which closed off the exterior access) and this was sorted immediately even though it was Easter weekend. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. There were 2 showers and 2 toilets. The swimming pool area was wonderful, and the pool was open at the end of April, although really very cold we still went in! We also enjoyed the lovely barbecue area. In our "2 bed" apartment there was a third bedroom, just big enough for a bed, with a curtain separating it from the hall, a teenager happily slept there.

For the price it was amazing and I would definitely visit again. To inform other prospective visitors, there is no oven and the kitchen was very simple and small. No washing machine of your own, but they are available on site - you pay with an app.

Our 2nd stay here, rooms spacious, everything you need for a self catering holiday other than an oven, very spacious grounds surrounding the apartment including outdoor pool with bar/cafe- seasonal. Staff exceptional, free carpark, nice terrace with seating area.

On arrival we had to clean terrace and apartment floor, no cleaning products. on arriving late there was no facilities or shops open, we had nothing to drink (a bottle of water would have been nice and wouldn't cost hotel a lot). There is nothing around the area so you will need some type of transport to get around, there are cars around that didn't cause us any concern but one of them had been sick Infront of our door entrance, we informed reception asking them to clean but took them 2 days to clean it up.

The general vibe of the property was exceptional. The staff were kind, helpful and cheerful. We enjoyed the pool daily. The location was great, a car very much needed but with one, we visited many places and supermarkets were close by. There isn’t any air conditioning but we closed the shutters and curtains and the room temperature was acceptable even on the hotter days. We cooked, had a bbq and ate out and enjoyed the variety and being able to do so. We loved the effort the staff went to, to provide entertainment and experiences such as the wine tasting, local produce stalls and themed food nights. My children enjoyed bowering the pool toys which we put back on our departure. This is a great idea.

Lovely location, close to Carcassonne. Nice pool. Lovely friendly staff both at the pool and at reception. Food served at the pool bar all day, which was great and tasty. We had a three room apartment which was comfortable. There is no air con but the staff provided 2x fans which were very welcomed. It’s a lovely place, a little investment may be required here and there but on the whole a lovely place to stay.

Some of the equipment in the apartment needed to be replaced: a broken outside table and chair and the extractor on the cooked wasn’t very clean at all. All reported to the staff which they are going to sort.

The place where the apartment is located: in a beautiful private garden, with parking next to the blocks, a large swimming pool! Fantastic location, with large and comfortable rooms, a terrace... all one needs. Beautiful for our purpose: a few days of relaxation before a boat rental in Homps. The staff is welcoming, professional, and informative.

Some rooms (like our apartment) have beds in an elevated position, under the roof. Because of the lack of air conditioning (not promised), if the summer temperature reaches 30°, laying there is impossible. There are fans but they do not bring too much comfort. The mattresses are so hard that sleeping in a different position than on the back is causing pain! We consider that we had a great time after all because the temperature rose only during the last hours. For these reasons, the rating cannot reach the best level.

Excellent people and service. Very friendly atmosphere. Location is great if you want to explore this area of France. The apartment for 5 has all you need for such a crowd including 2 bathrooms.

The furnishing is quite modest, but I would not expect much for such a friendly price. There is no air conditioning, and it might be problematic during heatwaves. In our case the temperature was around 25-28 degrees Celsius and it was ok.

The staff are absolutely amazing. The kitchen manager Cheikh is absolutely wonderful as are his staff. Nothing is too difficult for them, they are always welcoming and cheerful. The location is wonderful - a beautiful setting and so much to do; boat rides, caves, castles, wine tasting and so much more. The reception staff look after you very well indeed and the pool is brilliant for families. The apartment was really spacious.

I guess air conditioning would have been an extra plus.

Comfortable, clean and great value. Nice pool with adjacent restaurant that served good food and drinks all day. Very friendly, attentive staff with dynamic approach to running the place: changing daily menus, pizza and local produce trucks on Saturdays, massages on Thursdays, winery tours on Wednesdays, etc... Easy access to lovely local towns, Carcassonne, Minerve and Narbonne.

The basketball hoop, the table tennis tables and a few pieces of pool furniture probably need to be replaced in the near future.

This is an amazing place to stay. It's hidden, even the locals don't know it's there. Ideal location for exploring the area. We upgraded to a 2.5 bedroom apartment due to mobility issues of a family member. 2 toilets and bath with shower and a separate shower room were very useful. Being on the ground floor, we had a little garden. Great for self-catering with all facilities with dishwasher and microwave but no oven. We took an airfryer. Unexpected extra was the bar by the pool which served soft drinks and coffee in the late afternoon/evening.

It's a bit noisy on occasions mainly from scraping of chairs on tiles from apartment above and cars on gravel drive used as drop off/loading place. Rooms had a few cobwebs so didn't appear clean but probably should be expected. Vine weevils were a surprise but again to be expected due to location.

Fantastic location within driving distance to all the famous Cathar sites. Apartments are simple and clean, lovely to stay in and fantastic for the money. Be sure to arrive at the time of check in because they close the gate for the evenings and you don't want to make the poor staff wait for you! They were very very sweet and accommodating when I had to cut my stay short to attend to a family emergency. I had extended my stay not once but twice because of how impressed I was by the facilities and had intended to stay nearly a month in all. There is a small grocery/mini Mart and gas station a minute from the hotel which has everything you need to cook at home. The hotel has walking trails and a gorgeous swimming pool. I will definitely without a doubt be staying here if I have the chance to return to Languedoc.

I liked everything, it was absolutely wonderful and great for a solo female traveler.
