If looking for a traditional Korean accomodation with moderm convenience I recommend this hotel. This was my second time there. The facility is incredibly beautiful, the staff are amazing, and the breakfast awesome. Air-conditioning works great in summer. Hotel is a great ciltural experience in itself but also located next to Gwanghalluwon which is best seen as evening falls and lights come on (also free admission in evening hours).

Very secure place but there is no "safe" in the room for valuable things. Some foreigners may find it difficult sleeping on futon bed instead of western style bed in the heated floor rooms. Many local restaurants take a break between 3-5 PM. The traditionally heated floors can be hot in winter but front desk will help.

Perfect area. Like the best in the city. Much to see for night walks and day stuff. Sadly it was too rainy for a long hike in the close mountains. Super clean place! It has everything you need. No bug encounters, even no mosquitoes.

Everything was super good. Just the aircon was minimal stinky. (Not yet stink but starting to get stinky) To be fair - it's very hard to keep them scent free, if you have months of tropical weather.

If you are looking for the experience of royalty in ancient Korea, look no further - this is it! Beautiful in every way, it is a traditional experience with modern convinces. Well worth the money, and breakfast was amazing. Be sure to visit the Gwanghallu park next door at night to see the pavilion lit up beautifully.

I hate to complain about such an amazing place but our room, a traditional heated floor 온돌, where you sleep on futons, had a scorching hot floor the first night but after complaining to the staff they agreed not to put so much wood in the firebox heating system. It would be better if a couple small chairs were also in the room for dressing and sitting for elderly and foreigners not accustomed to sitting on the floor.

Beautiful and comfortable, it makes the Hanok stay very pleasant. Namwon is a beautiful and vibrant city with many shops and restaurants. Jirisan is close which makes a perfect base for.

In a such a beautiful wooden structure, i wonder why they have glued a plastic floor. I don’t mind but it is surprising….

Excellent location , Very helpful staff. Even though they don't speak English well, they make you feel very welcome. We love and enjoyed the hanok style room, and the beautiful surrounding, There's complimentary Korean cookies which are absolutely yummy, taste so much better that the same versions you get at the market. We regretted that we only had a 1 night stay !
