Location was great about 40 mins from airport but the way they drive out there felt more like 30. The facility itself lives up to their name. So elegant just the way we like it. Food was actually good. Staff super sweet. Entertainment was okay I've seen better. I love the balance of adults and kids. It didn't feel like chaos. This resort is more for grown folks who need time away from life, families taking their kids on a sweet vacation and for a baby moon or honey moon. It's like everyone who was on the property knew when it was time to whine down which was great. None of that immature reckless behavior. If you're looking for an elegant picture worthy aesthetic as well as time to get away with your loved one this is the place!

Entertainment team could be a little bit better. They were okay just a little dry.

Overall our experience was great! The hotel property is beautiful, the service was great, and the location is at the newest hotel area north of Cancun. Edgar at seafood was the best! He went above and beyond with service and presentation. From putting a light behind the drink to make it look like it was glowing, to our coffee drink with 43 being shaken at the table, and finally a fire presentation for our desert with brandy. Kevin was assistant and was awesome also. Geovani at piano bar made one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. Jose at the kids pool bar (Glee) took care of us all week. He made amazing drinks and was a great bartender and host! Ana at the photoshop made our family photos a breeze. She was great with the kids and made it a good experience for us. Angel at breakfast took care of us and made sure we had juices for the kids and coffee for us every morning. Massage at the spa was great with Irma and Raandy. My wife and I did a couple massage. The hydro therapy afterward was very enjoyable as well. Santiago was our maid and made sure to keep our room tidy and stocked with the kids constantly causing a mess. Diana from kids place was amazing! She was so attentive with our son and also gave him a gift when we were leaving to go home.

Because this is a new area there is construction going on at the property next door. It’s noisy during the day.

This was my third visit to Majestic Elegance. Everything about the resort is wonderful. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. The resort itself is very well kept and maintained. Pools and beach areas are always clean. Plenty of chairs available. Room was large enough, bed comfortable and housekeeping services perfect. Check-in was smooth and easy. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They made me feel as if I was an old friend returning for a family visit. My 'butler' or as I called her, my resort adviser, Katia, was always available to answer any questions, make reservations or handle any issues. I was lucky to have had her as my adviser. Housekeeping was great. My room was always clean and tidy. Housekeepers made sure I had clean towels, robes and slippers. Restaurant wait staff was excellent. Someone was always available to respond to needs or questions. All were friendly and truly ready to help. The food on the buffets was always fresh and good. The specialty restaurants were easily accessible, with very short wait times for a table. The quality of the food and service was always great. The bars were clean and bartenders always friendly and professional. Even during busy times, they always took a moment to ask about my day and time at the resort. Their skills are top notch, as was all of the liquors!! The grounds are immaculate. Clean and tidy, with obvious attention to detail. The grounds are beautifully kept. There's staff busy everywhere. It's truly a wonder to watch them work! I saw workers IN the pools, searching for debris of any kind, ensuring cleanliness. The areas around the pools are also very well kept; clean and tidy with plenty of lounge chairs. The staff at the pools were incredible. The servers were always coming by to ensure guests had what they needed and taking orders. The activities staff was very friendly and engaging; truly interested in each guest's experience.

My only criticism is that my room (4112) is located directly across from the area where wedding receptions are held. The music was very loud and lasted until 11 PM.

It was our 10s anniversary, and best trip ever! We were on adults only side. Stuff was extremely professional and kind and helpful. There was super clean, thanks to Marisol (our housekeeper). Hotel has 7 restaurants, Italian and French were our favorite. In French restaurant Bistro was super waiter Mateo, who really loves his job and he is very nice and professional person. Great atmosphere, great staff. Every evening they have some program for guests with singing, dancing, food and other activities. Thank you everyone who helped us, we had such a wonderful time there!

We definitely recommend Majestic hotel! The staff are so kind, attentive, and work their ass off to please their guests. (so be sure to bring $$ to tip, they deserve it!) The hotel is open and modern. Plenty of space, didn't feel on top of everyone/other guests. Plenty of choices for restaurants - good food and clean. Plenty of pool space.

Wish there were more umbrellas at the pool.

Very nice, elegant, the view is amazing, the sand is white and many pools where to enjoy the day. As well many restaurants from Mexican to Italian, sushi, steakhouse etc… there are shows in the night time but just for 1 hour the rest you can enjoy by piano bar or sports bar

The stuff is not so friendly, by the flavor restaurants for breakfast time the girls in front of the desk receiving the people are not professional at all. If you ask them to eat outside immediately the answer is already full without check it. I been by myself to check and advise them there are a lot of table free. They just apologize, next morning the same. By the main pool bar only one bartender serving for all people and you have to wait for your drink at least 15 to 20 minutes. Towels station it’s look like they are doing a favor to you to give you towels, everyday people are not smiling and just saying take your towel.

Almost a perfect vacation. I had stayed at another 5 diamond/star resort the week before going to Majestic and it did not compare at all. This is an excellent place for vacation. Our Butler Chan made all the difference. His warmth and availability to meet our needs was well appreciated. Food was excellent, though more options for vegetarians would have been nice. Drinks were great and even the "house" wine was pretty decent. The beach was fabulous and they kept it clean from the seaweed. The beach cabanas were free for use and there were lots of them, unlike some of the high class resorts in Cancun that charge additional fee to use the beach cabanas. Pool was lovely as well but we did not use it much at all as there were just too many other vacationers in the pool. Be aware that this resorts is kinda far out and so if you are doing any to0urs of downtown activities this can cost extra for the pickup and will add about 1 hour to the journey (0.5hour each way)

I cannot fault this resort at all. Cancun however is a major tourist trap so be aware that everyone is trying to sell or upsell you something that's way over its worth.

Loved the location. It was tucked away in a relatively quiet area. The hotel was very clean and welcoming when you came in. Was a little thrown off by the bellmen (very used to taking luggage ourselves). Checking in was very easy, and then the guided tour was even better. Everything was so clean! When we got to the room it was huge! Massive king-size bed, balcony with table and chairs, and we had a Rooftop Plunge Pool, which was fantastic. The beach was not very far from our room, and they had a plethora of canopies available. There were many food choices ( 7 restaurants and room service) and entertainment each evening at 9 pm. The massive workout area was great for getting some gym time in. Also, it is very clean. Since we were traveling for our 20th anniversary, we had come back from dinner one night, and there was a rose petal walkway and heart on our bed with a sign on the door that said Happy Anniversary. It was a simple gesture that had a major impact!

Only complaint: our shower was NEVER warm. So, we took cold showers for the week. Also, I wish there were a few more daytime activities for adults that weren't exercising by the ocean (it was too hot for outdoor exercise). If there were daytime activities, we didn't know how to find them. There is nothing else to say we didn't like.

We were undecided between this hotel and The Finest Costa Mujeres. However, we ultimately decided on Majestic Elegance. First, I would like to say that this is an exceptional resort; no expense was spared while building this resort. For starters, the resort is huge. The property is well-maintained and all of the customer service personnel were friendly, very outgoing and extremely accommodating. The room was huge and had great views of the pool and ocean. There are several restaurants on-site and the food was simply exquisite at all of them. The breakfast buffet offered a large selection of all types of cold and hot breakfast food-from pancakes and waffles to omelets and all sorts of cooked meats, beef, turkey and pork included. The swim-up bars were very nice and convenient. The drinks made at the inside bars did tend to be better made than the drinks at the pool bars, except for Juan at the Kid-Friendly Bar, he makes the BEST drinks hands down on the entire resort. There were plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas and cabanas at the pools and at the beach-all free of charge of course.

Did not like how the Club members were treated so much better than the non Club members. My wife wanted one of the Majestic beach bags that are free to the Club members and they would NOT let her have one or buy one. That was a little off-putting. We stayed in 5312 and are leaving in the morning, so sad to go.

Good choice of restaurants, food ok in all of them. Lovely landscaped grounds, close to beach.

Pools small, allocated room overlooked construction site but alternative was given when we asked to move. Multiple weddings so not able to use all public areas.
