A hidden oasis surrounded by vineyards and green. We traveled to Cassis for a beach holiday but the moment we arrived at Villa Le Sud, that all changed. We rarely left the peaceful pool and gardens…finally making ourselves get dressed and into Cassis for dinners (8 minute drive to any park house in Cassis). A lovely breakfast was set out for us every morning, we had access to our own shelf in fridge/freezer, ice and cold filtered water, plus coffee anytime of day. This is a gated property and your cars and bikes are very safe.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay; 5 star hotel level facilities within a friendly, family run, boutique residence. Great natural swim pool with plenty of sun loungers; great bespoke rooms with excellent shower and comfortable beds; we also appreciated the in room safe. Also, access to iced water, tea and coffees throughout the day, and a good standard of served continental breakfast. We loved our visit and hope to return!

Loved everything, even though it’s a 2k walk into town it’s totally worth it, and the local M1 bus sets off from the train station(just 10 mins walk above the property). The walk into town, which we did on two evenings was a very pleasant 30 mins.

Very nice, really welcoming hosts, great breakfast, nice pool area with flowers and green plants. Parking on site and very safe, we could store our bikes next to the car for the night and relax. Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. The place is a bit out of the city but we wanted to stay away from the hustle. And the center can be reached within 35 minutes and there is a bus as well if you do not want to climb up the hill on the way back :) And finally… a working AC in Provence :)

We could not connect to the wi-fi but was not important for us so we have not addressed it either.

From the beginning to the end everything was perfect! Nicolas was very helpful since the pre-arrival till we checked out! He helped us with a lot of suggestions about what to do in the region. Everything went well. The lady who served us breakfast every day was also amazing and very friendly. Your room us cleans and made up by the time you are having breakfast. The pool/jacuzzi area is so incredible, very peaceful. Overall we had a great time and would surely recommend the place.

The pool, accessibility and very warm welcome/helpfulness of the owners. Great garden and tasteful premises.

Breakfast after a few days a lot the same, and because of rather big car initially a bit fussy to park, which was solved thanks to the owners

The people and pool were amazing. The room had good AC - this was important because it is really hot Breakfast was huge and really good. Lots of options. They also had a fridge and freezer we could store things in. That was really great.

Not a whole lot. People should be prepared that it is outside of town, but there is easy public transportation.

Everything was amazing! Peaceful location outside of the center of cassis. Everything was super clean and neat. The room was very comfortable. Loved the garden and the pool to chill at. Nicola and his mother were very welcoming! Would highly recommend.

Beautiful pool area, comfortable bed, brilliant breakfast. The host was very helpful and let us check in early and sent us a video of how to get access to our room.

A little far from town but most people have cars so no issue, about 35 minutes walk which was ok for us but should be noted if you don’t have a vehicle

Lovely bed & breakfast and great for a stay close to Cassis but up the road from the hustle. Check-in was seamless, Nicolas was very helpful and communicative, breakfast was delicious and everything was incredibly clean. Would highly recommend!

The location, the cute room, the awesome presentation of the observatory of the photos universe. I highly recommend you stay here and get the chance to see the stars and the sun and learn as much as we did. Thank you so much to Olivier and Laurence
