The hotel is well located in the town, and conveniently close to a bar and a restaurant. There was a parking space right by the hotel that was made available to us. The owners are a lovely young couple, both speak excellent English. They were very helpful and accommodating. They moved a mini-fridge into the room especially for us. On the morning of our departure, our car refused to start and they quickly located a car mechanic for us, who arrived within 10 minutes of phoning him and fixed the problem. Great service by everyone! The bedroom and bed were very comfortable. The bathroom was newly renovated - clean, well lit, spacious, and with great hot water and good water pressure. The owners have not long purchased the hotel and are presently upgrading it. The current decor is a little outdated, but has charm. There is a small elevator available. Our room overlooked a street, which was quiet. We didn't book breakfast - so cannot comment on this.

There did not appear to be a functional electrical wall socket in the bedroom available to recharge our mobile phones. We used a bathroom socket instead. The owners are currently upgrading the wiring.

This hotel has a great soul. It's perfect complement for visiting and tasting the history of Italy and Bagni di Lucca. Everything fits perfectly. And you have a lot stuff to do in this area. Marvelous mountains, cute villages, the river and not so far to visit the sea. You won't be boring and in the same moment you will avoid the huge number of tourist. At this moment place belongs to a very nice lady, whose bought it from older Italian gentleman, so she speaks English and she's very helpful. The place is maybe old but very clean. You won't regret the time you spent there.

Nice little hotel lovely staff who made me feel really welcome. I felt they could not do more to make my stay perfect. Hotel is right in the heart of the town. There is a bar and a restaurant next door bar opens all day and until midnight. Nice room with all facilities, hotel is abit dated but that adds to its charm.

The room was abit cold, it was early October and starting to get cold but the heating was not on

The location and room was perfect for my needs, bed linen and towels pristine received a welcome to Italy text from Franci who was in reception when I arrived and couldn’t have been more pleasant. There was a fridge in the landing if you wanted to store drinks etc altho I didn’t need it, it was only a brief stay and I felt it was exceptional value.Bar Italia right next door with the most delicious pastries/ cakes and friendly staff very reasonable prices and seemed to be a popular local hub.

Only a small issue my euro adapter didn’t work in the room I was in so was unable to charge my phone, I’m sure if I asked at reception they would have helped me but didn’t need to ask as I charged my phone in Bar Italia whilst enjoying their lovely coffee and pastries 🥐😀

Great location and friendly staff.

The lighting. It was all motion sensor in the halls and was not on long enough. Great to not waste electricity but please set them just a bit longer🧡

Sweet family, super friendly and welcoming. The hotel location is completely central right next to Bar Italia which is the life of the village.

Cleaning and comfortably

Even though it is very close to the airport, it's impossible to go walking and the taxis are too expensive for driving 5 minutes.

Very retro hotel. Nostalgia overload, loved it. Full of character. The owner is very friendly and appears to be a near solo operator.

Park slightly further down the river to avoid the pointless hour limit, that no one is enforcing.

A lovely little hotel with friendly owners and staff. Good location, clean room. Pet friendly with a reasonable small cleaning fee.

Breakfast....and the rooms at the front overlooking the square suffered from noise at night....
