Nice quiet hotel for families with kids or dogs. Room was clean, and the hotel was within walking distance of kid-friendly restaurants. Noyo harbor and Pomo Bluffs Park are close by as are highways 1 and 20. Glass Beach and Pudding Creek Beach are just a few minutes drive up highway 1.

The bathroom was a bit cramped, and the heater wouldn't turn off completely so it got a bit too warm at night. You'll be sleeping with the windows open at night, so you'll hear cars driving by. There is not much of a view from the property due to its location on the highway.

Room was small but very clean. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING offered in our room. We did have a tall rotating fan in the corner to use. Luckily it was cool this time of year (mid May) in Fort Bragg, so fan was not needed the evening we stayed. Beds were comfortable. The location is right off of Highway 1 which has a lot of traffic, but the room was very soundproof, so we were not bothered by any loud traffic noise.

They do not offer any type of breakfast at this hotel. There is a coffee maker in the room if you like that, but we are not coffee drinkers. Luckily there was a very nice and clean McDonalds across the street that we drove to for a morning meal. We were also disappointed that the mini golf facility, that is part of the hotel, was closed. (closed Monday and Tuesdays).

So close to the ocean! The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was inviting and friendly. But we came for the Big Blue. A short 1 minute drive and we were at Pomo Bluffs. Absolutely beautiful! You're right I'm the heart of Fort Bragg but close enough to drive to Mendocino for dinner.

Weather was less than perfect. But I don't think that was the fault of the hotel. 😂 On a serious note, the common area of the bathroom was situated too open to the room. You couldn't use the sink, coffee maker, hair dryer, without disturbing the others who may be sleeping. This is common oversight in room planning. Not a deal breaker.

We were warmly welcomed at reception. We did not need a Pet friendly room so we were moved to a Not Pet friendly suite. The room was clean, the place was quiet, there was everything that we needed. We were busy at Fort Bragg and really, we just slept in the room - we were very happy with it. THANK YOU

I am from the Southern hemisphere. In my country we do not put out disposable cups, plastic spoons etc. I am used to real crockery and cutlery - I don't like the thought of that waste, going into the trash.

I liked the location, our room was on the corner so we got to see the sunset which was beautiful. Also it’s really close to a nearby lookout point which was awesome.

Maybe because it was summer, and the weekend and also because our room was on the corner, there were a lot of noisy people who hung out in the little parking square lot before entering the main parking lot. So we heard lots of different conversations, up until 3am. So where our room was specifically it was loud if we had the window open, which we did because it was warm out.

It’s very close to a wonderful Headlands/Bluff paved walk. We had the luck of 3 sunny days and so enjoyed being outside next to the Pacific Ocean.

The light right outside the room (117) was very bright and made it difficult to sleep. Blackout curtains were not enough. It does light the ice machine and soda dispenser, but perhaps a pull down shade? It was a very quiet clean and comfortable stay otherwise.

The motel had a nice curb appeal, looked well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a dog friendly room which was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It had a mini fridge and nice amenities; even a couple of treats for my dog. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play mini golf, but the course was cute and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

As with most dog friendly hotels/motels, we had a first floor room when I would have preferred an upper floor room. It also faced the hwy, so there was some road noise, but nothing you couldn't deal with. The streets seemed to roll up early, so that really helped.

We made a reservation for 8 nights, but decided to go down to San Francisco a couple of days earlier. We had exhausted options for our vacation in the Fort Bragg area and wanted to do more exploration closer to the city and make it easier to get to our return flight out of SFO. It seemed to be difficult for the hotel to give me a response on what could be done to revise our reservation. I chose to leave without further discussion just to avoid any additional time or angst to complicate or disrupt our otherwise pleasant stay.

Clean, well maintained, and relatively good pricing. The location was quiet and the dog friendly rooms had some extra towels and sheets for the room. It was spacious as well though I am a solo traveler. The separate bathroom and sink would be great for people traveling with others. Dog friendly as well

No water dispenser or microwave in my room. Easy to work around but would prefer to have these amenities. Walls are thin but I didn’t have too much trouble with noise

Definitely will be back. Staff super kind. Family and pet friendly location . Free Continental Breakfast. Gifts and snacks available for purchase in office. This is in a great location with a short walk to the waves & nice Noyo River grill. Few minutes drive to Glass Beach , Skunk Train , Downtown plus many stores nearby . Lighthouse not too far of a drive away too. Comfortable, clean and affordable.

No microwave but there is a fridge. (Didn’t need either this time however.)
