Check-in was very easy - we paid online ahead of time, and the process at the facility took less than a minute with no additional paperwork. We requested a ground floor room due to difficulty with the stairs, and were immediately given one of the last available ground floor rooms, which ended up being perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were ample (three per queen bed) and much nicer than the flat pillows common in budget motels. There was a working heater in the room, the mini fridge was a good size, and the coffee maker was stocked with multiple days' worth of coffee. Little details, like the decorative wooden boards in and outside the rooms showing local landmarks, and the pretty images of Glass Beach on the inner window shades, made things feel unique and special. Parking was easy and convenient. My kids and I felt very comfortable and safe, and loved the convenience of the location. We will definitely return!

For the most part, we liked everything. No major complaints or problems at all. There were small inconveniences due to older infrastructure, such as a slow-draining sink and a stuck window, but nothing major. I also noticed that in the 4 nights we stayed, there were no fresh towels provided, despite signs saying towels and sheets would be changed every 3 days. We didn't mind, and actually preferred no housekeeping interruptions. But other customers might prefer more frequent care.

Staff were responsive and polite when we checked in during the late hours of the night. The rooms are basic but clean. Bed was comfortable. The metal base the mattress sits on top of was awkward. It was easy to bump into which made a loud noise. The staff restocked the breakfast area frequently which we appreciated. For the price, it was standard with the staff and cleanliness making it a better experience.

The shower was small. The place in general was dated. I would not say that was a big negative. For a quick comfortable stay it was fine.

Staff was friendly. Allowed early check in as well. Ample parking spots. Room heating was good, enough pillows and mattress was comfortable. Keyless entry to the room is nice. The breakfast was good enough - apple bananas, waffles, breads, butter and jams + coffee. Location was great.

Bed was King size but the mattress seemed like a queen. Warm water in the bathroom was only available for a few minutes.Some of the sockets didn't work so better to take an extension cord with you. Overall, I didn't bring it to the attention of staff so giving them the benefit of doubt that these could have been mitigated if I had checked with them.

Easy to get to.

Wall plugs were hard to get to. Shower curtain kept coming off just closing it. The ice machine was empty and to small. Toilet seat was very old and kept coming off. It pinched my leg. The bathroom door had deep scratches by the door knob on in inside. Looked like someone put there dog in there then went out to the beach. One would think some paint for the next guest would have been nice

I was in room 102 The king size bedding smelled so fresh and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom as well as the microwave, fridge and the tables were all very clean. Shame on the person who said there are bed bugs. Breakfast with waffles, fruit and good coffee was a bonus. I am picky, yet I really enjoyed the owners. They are caring, hardworking, kind and helpful. I will return for all my stays in Fort Bragg as the price and quality were excellent.

The room had a few features that elevated it above most affordable rooms. Love love love the window covering! All hotels should do that!

The bed was comfortable but they are on a base, rather than a box spring and frame. The base is rather noisy. When you walk up to the bed, or get out of bed it's easy for your feet to base cause a loud, hollow metal sound.

The room was clean and tidy, a small fridge and microwave and coffee maker.

When we first checked in the windows were all open and heat was off. It wasn’t a big deal and it probably helps keep the air fresh in the rooms. Closed the windows and turned on the heat before heading out to dinner a few blocks away. Room was comfortable when we returned.

The beds were very comfortable. The location was very convenient. The price was low. The waffles were good.

The motel is old and was a bit run down - loose fixtures in the shower, other minor problems. The orange juice tasted like Tang.

It's a cute hotel. Roomy. Nice and clean. Great view. Close to all the stuff.

There was 2 guys that broke into the screen room next to ours but I guess he knew the occupant...? At least they were quiet! Haha!

It was a no frills, clean motel with all necessary facilities including food quality towels and bedding. Nice shower. Also had clothes press. Spacious room. Offered waffles and coffee and fruit for breakfast. Close to everything in fort Bragg.
