Great 4 night stay at Super 8. Booked through Bookings.com. Brought my two dogs, $20 per dog per night. This is a basic, clean, ample parking, WiFi included room with hard floors vs carpet. Perfect for my stay with dogs. Friendly, helpful staff at check in, check out and with cleaning staff who I communicated with. Quite professional. Clean downstairs room with queen bed, non smoking, nice blackout shades for setting sun. Refrigerator, microwave, no hair dryer (not a problem), cable TV on flat screen TV, good WiFi. Good size room including table and chairs. Bathroom sink area has been updated. Blow dryer missing but there was a wall mount. Plenty of hangers. Lots of parking, adjacent to Mountain Mike's Pizza and Chevron. Very clean grounds. Continental breakfast in morning: cereal, toast, oatmeal, coffee and tea. I didn't try it but there was a line and lobby full of people 7-10am each day. Quiet mostly, next door guests baby crying lots and their dog barked. Consulted management at checkout. They suggested next time I call them with each occurrence. My dogs fortunately were quiet. I would stay here again. Also if my stay was as good as this time they could easily be rated 5 stars.

See what I liked

Check in was very quick and easy. They offered me a choice of either upstairs or downstairs which was nice. I do like to have the upstairs so I don't get stuck under a family with kids that tend to jump around in the room some. The room was very clean and looked like it had been recently updated. However, there was some minor damage to the floor and the bathroom door paint on the inside. They allow pets and it looked like someone may have locked their dog in the bathroom and it scratched the door. Did not affect my stay other than a slight worry they might try to blame the damage on me. The motel was very centrally located and was easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go. The price was very reasonable and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The bad was the thin walls and windows. Could very easily hear the street and people walking by. Thankfully things did quiet down by around 10PM in the evening. Breakfast is a sugar high. They offer a grab and go breakfast which consists of Hostess style products like pastries and donuts. Coffee, tea and some juices.

Super 8 used to be the budgetyest of budget chains. Acquisition by Wyndham seems to have been for the better. My room (single queen bed) was spanking clean, the bedding was comfortable and all basic amenities - Wifi, TV, microwave, minifridge, coffee fixings and toiletries - present and accounted for. The front desk will furnish a list of local restaurants if you need it.

Be aware, they will hit you with an additional $50 room deposit, refundable to your credit card once they know you haven't trashed the place. Location was a little noisy, even mid-week, but there's not a lot one can do about it.

We stayed in Room 123 on 10/11/2024 - $132.21/night. The desk clerk was welcoming. Nice room – comfortable bed and great pillows. Room had fridge, microwave and coffee. There was a strange pipe banging noise all night and the breakfast was prepackaged granola bars, pastries and biscotti, but juice and coffee also. The ice machine was in order. The shower was hot and tub drained well. The heater worked. Definitely one of the better Super 8s we’ve stayed at. Grade A.

Clean room, comfy bed, great location. TV and wifi were great too. Everything was very clean and well kept.

The bathroom window had new insulation so it didn't quite close all the way. Toilet in my room was slightly slow to flush, but that could be from being so close to the water. Neither of these things were significant issues during my stay.

The location the service

We came into town early and needed to check in early and they wanted to charge us extra when our room was already ready as an employee told us that and was asked for a little late check out due to car trouble and we offered to pay extra and we were told no even though we had our small children with us

Walking into the room it smelled so clean fresh and bright the towels and the bedding were so clean fresh crisp and white

I didn't like the fact that booking in advance was about $20 difference from what my quote was to win I got to the room and when it said breakfast served I thought it was going to be a little room you go in and you would have a waffle machine oatmeal and stuff like that.

Retro"ish" looking room very clean which is super important to us. Beds were comfortable, was a bit cool when we were there so we used the furnace worked great. Perfect location for exploring Fort Bragg. Would definitely stay again (but will bring my own pillow)

pillows were the worst I have slept with . Very lumpy

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was super clean and had all the usual amenities. What was particularly useful was their choice of clock, which had a lot of AC ports and a USB port. We were not at a loss for charging ports.

We wish the free breakfast wasn’t just grab and go pastries, although the quality and selection was good.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Compared to the other motels in the area in the budget category, the rooms were clean. We travelled with a small dog, so its hard to say if we had the best room. But at least the plumbing worked bedding was clean, TV actually worked.

Dog fee of $100 was charged.
