Great location with private parking and beautiful views. Just a 5-minute drive to the slopes' parking and within 300 meters of supermarkets. The hotel is run by a lovely and helpful family, providing a good breakfast for a small fee and an optional dinner in their dining room. Guests can also use the space to enjoy their own food. Overall, a great stay!

The toilet/bath is a bit tight.

We had a lovely one-night stay at this cozy property. The hospitality and food were fantastic, and the views of Obersee on the way to the restaurant were breathtaking. While the toilet was quite small, the bath area was manageable. The sunset and scenic ride views from the window were also a highlight. Highly recommend for a short, relaxing stay!

The hospitality of the host was excelent. We paid 10chf per person per day for the breakfast which was fair price comparing to other hotels and what we got to eat. We have also had an indian food as dinner one night which was really tasty. The outdoor restaurant had a very beautiful view to the lake and mountain. Parking was free of charge. The room was delivered totally cleaned with all clean sheets and beds. The location is really good. Easy access to many hiking areas, telecabines and lifts, lake and its swimming site and ferry for lake tour.

There was not a daily roome service, towel and toilet paper were provided as per request. There was not tv or hair drier, refrigrator and iron in the room. During the night you could hear the noise from upper floor if people were walking. Our room didn't have any nice view to lake or mountain however in reservation it was read that room will have view to lake or mountains.

We liked the hospitality very much, the free parking is an absolute huge like!

I cannot find anything to dislike, this hotel/guest house is for those who are searching for the best value for money. An authentic , rustic-vintage experience!

It is a subtle family run business and great for a short vacation. The owner was very friendly and provided us with suggestions on the scenic places around. We had our dinner at the Hotel restaurant and it was amazing. I would definitely recommend it.

You may want to check with the owner in case if you are a bigger family as you may find the budget room to be small. You will have to drive about 7 km up the mountain, so may not be perfect if you are looking for a Hotel on the Highway route.

It was great Nothing bad

We loved the family room with enough beds for us and our 3 kids to sleep comfortably! The owner was very nice, and we had a great breakfast in the morning. We were there to explore Walensee, and it was nice to stay in a quiet location in the town above the lake.

Great location with amazing staff! Didn’t stay long but staff helped make my travel easier and remembered my name after only 1 night! Very clean and simple room but had everything I needed

It is very lovely hotel wit family charm. The family running this hotel are very kind and helpful. The dinner was excellent, we liked that he shares with us what he does eat as well (Indian food (with Swiss touch = Not that spicy than normal)). We steeped very well and the room is comfortable. The breakfast ist good and enough choices. The bread is fresh from the bakery. When you stay in Amden than I can only recommend this hotel.
