We loved Hotel Fontanella & we lived Molveno. What a warm friendly welcome from all the staff. It’s set on the edge of town with, I think, the best view of the lake. We took a double room with balcony and it was worth it to sit and watch the lake and look out then mountains and the town. The room was modern warm and quiet with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Breakfast was great and they made us some delicious vegan food for dinner. ( even though it’s not a vegan restaurant) Free on site parking and table tennis and table football. You can walk everywhere in Molveno from the hotel. We had a great day on the lake and another great day taking the cable car and chair lift up the mountain and going for a hike. I’d be happy to stay for a whole week.

Our stay at Fontanella was perfect. The hotel is modern and stylish and well appointed. Everything about it was quality. It was out 3rd stay in molveno and having tried 2 other hotels on previous stays this was far, far superior to others. As a very light sleeper I enjoyed absolute silence in the evenings…..no church bells….no traffic. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve experienced. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The food was excellent. The staff were immensely thoughtful and attentive. Stunning lake side views if you’re lucky to get a room with a view. Amazing bike/ski garage.

A bit if a walk from anything else, but not off putting.

Superb service, great staff who was always there when you needed them. They have tried to accomodate every request we had. Dinners were really good, a good mix of food options. Breakfast was also nice, albeit somewhat limited options of food. Location is also good, close to the lake in case you like to take walks. What was a really a nice surprise is the shuttle bus, that takes you to Andalo ski slopes during the entire day. The driver Adriano was always there when you needed a lift.

The rooms are somewhat small, and would be nice if they had coffee machine and cattle for water boiling.

Beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Peaceful and serene location with bird song added into the mix. Modern and comfortable room. We spend most of our time on the balcony. Breakfasts were excellent. The staff provided me with a selection of gluten free breads and tarts, which was wonderful.

That we could not stay longer. No wine glasses or tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Incredible hotel with exceptional views, friendly staff and good sized rooms looking over the lake. The bar was superb with the garden to relax in and take in the view. Dinner was outstanding especially considering it was all included followed by a magnificent breakfast with cooked eggs and bacon. We would absolutely come here again. What a superb gem of a hotel.

Location, staff, views, food - all these were impacable. Made also use of the free parking and used the recharging facility to recharge my electric car.

Suggest to have a coffee machine or at least a kettle in the room.

A nice hotel with a good car park.

Nice but be careful as the 1st floor does not really have a lake view as the balcony is very large and blocks out the view. It would seem priority is given to those staying for longer periods

The hotel is in a perfect location; just exactly against the lake and 5 minutes walking to the lake. The room was large and comfortable and it had also a porch We had an evening diner with an extra small payment and it was great The team was nice and sympathetic We surly recommend staying there

Food, location, decor

Room slightly small and rooms are hot couldn't cool them down and this was winter, couldn't get air con working. No kettle in room

Lovely hotel with very friendly and hospitable staff. Delicious breakfasts and very tasty dinners. A separate impression of the view from the window. We will definitely come back again!
