This hotel has the best location being in the middle of everything - you’re amongst the shops and restaurants as soon as you step foot outside! The rooms are clean and a good size (although the bathroom is on the small side). The breakfast is also brilliant and they serve a huge selection right to your table.

The only down point I have is they promised me a breakfast bag to take with me when I checked out (I checked out quite early) as I had paid for breakfast included but sadly I didn’t get anything, which is a bit of a shame but its a busy hotel and restaurant so I can understand why it got forgotten.

We arrived and were greeted by a young lady that spoke English very well with a wealth of information and a willingness to help during our complete stay. We were helped up the stairs with our bags, we enjoyed the balcony, the breakfast included was also tasty and bountiful. We offered 10% discount on any meals at their restaurant so ate dinner there each evening as the food (kebabs, trout, spaghetti bolognese for eg. ) very tasty. We could not say enough good things about our stay here and would love to return to Mostar again some day. ALL the staff were exceptional

Some of the faucets and handles were loose and worrisome, 35 steps was sometimes a bit much but al all ok

Location is great, the room was on the pedestrian road but night and morning noisy.

The bed was hard and not confortable

Staff was great, very helpfu and polite, room were small but cozy, clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast as well. Hotel is well positioned if sigthtseeing around Old Town is of interest. They cook and offer local food and sweets wich are a great combo with local coffee, so it's a must try. You get what you pay for, Emen is to recommend for a visit to Mostar.

Only one thing I didn't like, but it's a gripe I have with a lot of hotels (most) today so it's not only Emen, is that they are using some kind of scent from air conditioning to make the room smell "nice", it's like a fabric softener.

I can't say enough about our fantastic stay at Hotel Emen! The location is absolutely ideal—right at the doorstep of the enchanting old town, making it incredibly convenient to explore all that Mostar has to offer. The hotel itself was wonderfully cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. A big thank you to Velid, who ensured every morning started off perfectly with a delicious and varied spread. We were celebrating our anniversary and asked for a special touch to our room. Maywa and the team went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience, setting up a beautiful and romantic room that exceeded our expectations. We also had the pleasure of taking a private tour arranged by the hotel. Omar, our guide, was exceptional—patient, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. As a fellow Liverpool fan, we had some great conversations along the way, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Omar’s passion for his city and ensuring we had the best experience was clear from the start. The staff at Hotel Emen are genuinely some of the most hospitable people we’ve ever met. They take care of you like family, making sure every aspect of your stay is perfect. If you're visiting Mostar, this is the place to stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you to the entire team for making our anniversary so special.

The location was perfect - short walk to the old bridge and right in the middle of the old town - the staff were FANTASTIC each one of them were extremely friendly and helpful - I travelled with my wife and 2 young children as well as my 2 elderly parents - the level of care and service we received was amazing- each of the staff went above and beyond so I won't make them all - would recommend to everyone

Late night music outside the hotel - I liked it but my toddler didn't! :)

A very comfortable stay with great views, a terrace, super helpful staff and perfect location. The breakfast is delicious and enough food to take you to dinner. They also helped organise a local driver to tour local towns.

Everything was great! Note for your arrival - come via the new town as the cobbles in the old town are hard with a bag.

The Bosnian breakfast was an interesting change from the usual hotel breakfasts I had on this trip. I liked the variety of items and the different spreads for the bread. The only thing I didn’t like was that the service of coffee was very limited to Bosnian coffee and that you had to pay extra if you wanted a basic cup of coffee. The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better right at the heart of historic Mostar. Everything you want to see is very close by. Also, a very convenient parking lot was just down the street, which worked out great. Just make sure you have cash in the form of Bosnian marks to pay for the parking, because they don’t take credit cards.

The hotel seemed to be operated by the hotel restaurant’s waiters, which was a bit confusing and they seemed to be distracted with running the restaurant and the hotel seemed to be an afterthought. They need to have an assigned person always at the hotel check-in desk.

The location is amazing, being right in the Old Town and very close to Stari Most. Breakfast is hefty and is comprised of a variety of different items. The staff were welcoming.

It would have been nice if the mini-fridge didn't take up most of the area under the desk-like table in the room, so that a chair could be slid under it. The mugs in my room weren't the cleanest. The hot water in the shower is limited, so that's something to be mindful of.

We stayed here for three nights in mid/late September and I’d definitely recommend it for value and, most of all, it’s location. It’s on the main cobblestoned approach to the Stari Most - about two / three minute walk. Staff were helpful and accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags prior to check in and after check out. Breakfast was traditional Herzegovinian. A very small dish of… EVERYTHING! - Sweet and savoury. Our room on the first floor was large and had a huge terrace.

The only negatives were the decor, finishings and mattress quality of the bedroom could do with a little investment to bring them up to a contemporary standard. I’d have paid 10% more for that. Also, juice would have been good with breakfast.
