We booked a last-minute getaway for our anniversary and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The place was absolutely beautiful – clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing time. We always love visiting Idyllwild. The town has such a charming, peaceful vibe, and the mountain views are stunning. The facilities were top-notch, and everything felt well taken care of. We also ate at their restaurant, The Peak, and it was fantastic! Great food, great atmosphere—it really added to the overall experience. Definitely a great choice for a quiet escape. Can’t wait to come back!

Everything!! Rachel at the front desk was simply marvelous her service was impeccable Great person to have at the front super helpful when we needed something to be handled. She is a true gem to that place! Raul in the bar was fantastic super friendly went out of his way for us cuz we came in kind of late gave us a food recommendation that was great and then later on saw him and showed us pictures of his Christmas dog and was just so personable and such another great gym to have at your property!! The layout of that property is superb it has something for everyone it's a huge property that you don't realize is so big very friendly to pets you could have a small room you could have a cabin you could have a bungalow you could have your whole family, it's just everything!

Not that we didn't like it we were just curious why there was carpet in the bedroom and not the tile throughout the whole room other than that we really had nothing bad to say 😃

The large, clean property, offered nice walks with our pup and a relaxing environment. On arrival, it appeared that the cabin/room we picked on Booking was not available to which we were a bit disappointed. Luckily, the Manager was able to provide us with a similar one. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed the spacious patio. The Peak Restaurant did not disappoint. The food was tasty and the Manager was great, friendly and attentive.

The only thing we would’ve liked to see is at least one small patch of fresh grass for the pups. Oh, and maybe a breakfast option. For some reason the little diner on property was closed.

We liked everything about this property. Great staff. Great landscaping and layout of things to do and enjoy. Plenty of amenities for entertainment. Looks like a beautiful wedding location. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

The restaurant on site didn’t have a lot of options other than BBQ style. Good food though. In our room, the shower door was so close to the ground that it pushes the bath mat around. So you have to pick it up every time you open or close the door. The shower room was pretty small, compared to the toilet room. The carpet had tiny little spiral metal pieces in it, around the beds. We informed the staff bc I nicked my foot on one. The staff were great. They were unaware and took note. Nonetheless, we recommend this resort and would stay here again.

It’s was so beautiful peaceful and breathtaking and love the whole experience and openness yet in the wild close to other but not as well !

We loved the room and mattress but we could not sleep due to the pillows they were not comfy definitely missed mine and also for the winter it being freezing I’m happy we had brought extra blankets but the heater was great . Just wasn’t one for the bunk bed room . Maybe a portable heater for in there or more thicker blankets . Other than that everything was so clean and neat !

The overall property wowed us as far as the mountain location, views, setup & cleanliness. Getting there from Palm Springs wasn’t an easy drive. I understand some people might not like mountain driving but we do! I loved the hand wash, shampoo & conditioner (Infuse brand?) Too bad they don’t sell them.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the restaurant - it was still closed for the season (we traveled mid March ‘24) 2 things that we already shared with the property - 1) Bathroom fan was too loud 2) The towels need replacement badly

This place exceeded my expectations. The room was nice. The whole facility was great. We are pickelball people. And the courts where so nice. So much to do there. We loved our stay. And the staff was very nice and helpful.

The only downside of our stay was how much you can hear the people next door. On one side they had the TV on blast all night. And finally when we where able to sleep. At 7am We can hear a child screaming crying. And there dog whining. And the mother and dad yelling or taking loud. We can hear them clearly. It went on for two hours. I think if we stay next time. We will explore there other rooms options.

My Mom and I were soooo surprised at the size of the property and how immense and immaculate it was. We would have happy hour from the restaurant and enjoy it on the terrace at our room (34) each day. Loved the seclusion and all the walking paths and amenities. And the Village!!!! Next time we’ve decided to get a village cabin and stay for a week! I’m a huge Pickleballer so that was a nice surprise all those new courts! So looking forward to the diner and the spa!!!! I can’t say enough about this place 💕

The coffee.

The retreat facilities are expensive and beautiful. Our young boys really enjoyed staying in the tiny room with a bunk bed and TV. The game room nearby with foosball, ping pong, air hockey (when it was working), billiards and games was a highlight. The lighted paths were beautiful at night. The mountain views were gorgeous.

The top bunk of the bunk bed should have had a railing. Made me super nervous my child would fall. Small detail; the room coffee was not good.

The property was absolutely beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms that made our stay very enjoyable. Most of the staff were warm and welcoming from start to finish. Unfortunately, our first interaction was with the bartender at the restaurant, who seemed overwhelmed and came across as dismissive. It was a bit disappointing, but thankfully, the rest of the team made up for it with their friendliness and professionalism.
