Bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a Keurig coffeemaker, microwave and fridge in the room.

Jacuzzi was broken. Ice machine was broken. They don’t offer daily maid service for stays less than 3 days.

This hotel really exceeded our expectations! To begin with, the person at reception was incredibly friendly and polite, he even let us choose the floor we wanted a room in and then gave us one of their recently renovated rooms. The room turned out to be great! It was so much better than what we expected it to be (it was also our first time staying in a motel in the US so we didn't have high expectations) and an amazing value for money. The room was clean and quiet (was on the second floor, overlooking the back side of the parking) and the property had plenty of parking available.

The main thing that we didn't like was that the room was really cold when we stepped in, we had to turn the A/C to the warm settings right away. Some smaller things we noticed were a weird plastic sound coming from the carpet when you stepped on it, the outer handle of the bathroom door was missing and you need to remember to close the bathroom door at night so that light doesn't get in from the bathroom window in the morning. Lastly, we found it a bit weird that the coffee machine was next to the sink and not somewhere else in the room (e.g. near the TV).

This is a little older South Palm Springs property that has no pretentious feel or price as many other Palm Springs properties have. It was clean, quiet with a great view of the surrounding mountains. It was close enough to downtown and the airport to enjoy the Palm Springs area and priced to do it without breaking the budget.

Bed was kind of hard, but some may like that. It could have had some lounge or restaurant facility, but then again it was an easy ride to downtown. They could support EVs like a Tesla charger on the property would be a great perk.

The room was very clean. It was nicely decorated for a budget hotel. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of parking. The desk staff was helpful. The coffee maker was easy to work and the fact that there was a microwave to re-heat the coffee was nice to have. The heat worked well as did the shower water; etc. It is a very nice venue. It is not glamorous because it is a budget hotel but it was centrally located and great for the price. But as I said; the room decor was much nicer than the average budget level hotel.

We were on the second floor and there did not seem to be an elevator to access the floor. That is my only cautionary. We had just come in for a short night to go to a birthday party. We were running late so I did not have time to search so I may have just missed it's location. It is a large complex and I only saw stairs.

Rooms were clean, well maintained and Palm Springs generally is well located for anyone driving to Indian Wells for the tennis like I was. Staff are very helpful, the info sheet provided was indeed useful and my stay was very pleasant! The motel is on the west side of town, so it's easy to access the main roads leading to LA. Plenty of parking, pool is nice and is also heated so night swimming is quite fun!

Pricey for what it is, but it is also very competitive for Palm Springs, it's just an expensive place in general!!! Lighting is a bit dim.

- we were there for coachella, we only needed a place to sleep at, so it served the purpose surprinsingly good - very nice staff - they have a small shop at the reception where we bought snacks and drinks - felt very safe - rooms bigger than expected

- the bathroom looked outdated and not necessary super clean - the shower is fixed on the wall and you cannot move it, so it’s a bit unconfortamble to shower

The rooms at Vagabond were spacious, updated and nicely appointed. The room AC was very responsive and kept the room very comfortable. It's located where East and South Palm Canyon meet. Very quiet and peaceful. You have to ask for daily housekeeping. Since I'm not a slob or a princess, that was fine with me. For food, there are quite a few options, evening in walking distance.

Staff very pleasant & helpful, clean room, comfy beds, bathroom & toilet in separate room from vanity mirror & sink, compact fridge, microwave (barely functional), easy wifi access, pool, good location, walking distance to breakfast locations, check-in/out easy, near tennis courts.

Microwave difficult to operate. Only 1button worked and very difficult to press to work. Buttons not operational except 1!

Everything was very clean, from the lobby to our hotel room and pool and the grounds! I was impressed by the upkeep even when strong winds came through and blew things around the staff was quick to come through and clean up the pool area and made it very comfortable for everyone to enjoy. The bed and pillows were comfy and the smart TV had all the apps so we we were able to have a movie night one of the nights during our stay.

Breakfast was advertised in the hotel listing but there isn’t actually any breakfast available, this must have been part of their pre-Covid amenities. But that wouldn’t deter us from staying again!

I’m a big fan of motels. Large, comfortable rooms and free parking (as opposed to $80-$100 a day if you stay in a ‘nice’ hotel). Vagobond is no exception. location is about 20 minutes walk from downtown Palm Springs, but there are several cool bars and restaurants within a 2 minute walk as it’s right in the area where a lot of resort hotels are located. I liked it.
