Apparently there is new management and I can tell! A few renovations have been made since I was last there and I think it looks great. Wasn't a fan of having to purchase chairs and daybeds when you are staying there, but I guess that is standard at fancier hotels. The free ones were in the sun and my husband can't be in the sun for too long (bummer). However, the young lady Viviana who was our server was so sweet and nice and provided such great customer service that at that point I didn't mind paying for the chairs anymore lol. She recommended drinks and was so attentive. As for the check-in, Marty assisted us. He was really friendly too and took the time to show my husband some merch. The new Amigo Room is really nice and well done. I wish I would have spent more time in there. The hotel pool had a good DJ playing good tunes that weren't basic or too loud. That was def a plus. The room we got had a patio and close to the pool, so that was nice. The bed was so comfty and cozy. I love the room decor. Always a pleasure and will be back obv.

Pool is always fun, and the staff getting drinks is great! The problem was it was so crowded! It was over 100 degrees and everyone was in the pool. I don't think the hotel was very full but the pool was. I think they open it up to the public making it stuffed!

I'm not sure if The Ace was an old hotel/motel before they remodeled but the side of the hotel facing the street (the side with the king rooms, i.e., cheapest rooms) has the heaviest doors known to man! So starting when the first person on this side wakes up and leaves their room the doors start SLAMMING shut behind them. Waking you up from a deep sleep if you're not a morning person. And they don't stop as people get up to grab coffee, breakfast or head to the pool. Starting at probably 6:45 am and not stopping until I finally decided to get up at 8:30 no more than 5 doors slammed, waking me up every time.

Stay here once a month for work. Laid back with good staff. Comfortable rooms. Great hotel, well located.

The hotel used to be such good value, but since adding a compulsory resort fee this place is expensive and there lots of other hotels that offer better value in the area. My hope is that the recent renovations do not increase the price. There are so many good hotels in PS. They need to stay competitive. Still love the place!

The pool was fantastic and just the vibe we were looking for. The staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable. The location was also close enough to everything without being in the thick of downtown.

Would have loved to have a little coffee machine in the room and a few times the room cleaning was a little less than ideal (forgetting new soap and leaving a cleaning rag in the room). You’re definitely paying for the vibe, which I get, and also hurt a bit at times (especially with the Canadian exchange rate)

The pool was awesome, the entertainment was awesome, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was really creative and cool, and the AC was incredible. The location was nicely centralized and easy to find and park at, and everything on the property was clean and kept up.

Room service was incredibly expensive ($20 for 2 cups of black coffee, like $15 for a single domestic beer). The room was pretty loud at night on a Saturday night but expected).

The pool area is great. It is not the largest pool, but there was ample seating all around, access to drinks (though extraordinarily expensive), and there was a good vibe. By my own tastes, they consistently played great music (Motown, 90's and 2000's hits) and it wasn't too loud. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Food and drinks are exorbitantly priced. To be fair, all food and drinks are expensive in Palm Springs, but everything here is $5-$10 marked up from that standard. I could also have used more natural light in the rooms, but this is not a huge deal as I don't take vacations to spend time in my room.

Service around the pool and bars can be patchy. Menu in the kings highway is limited and a bit boring. Outside eating isn't really a thing - weird. No coffee machine in the rooms - so add $25 a day for a couple of coffees in bed via room service

Loved the room and how cold the ac was and they upgraded us to a suite which was nice

There was a private event that excluded us from using the pool where the dj was which was one of the main factors of us booking this hotel so we had to pay to enter that event or use the other pool that didn’t have a dj.

Absolutely loved that the pool was open till 2am as well as the bar. Loved that there was a pool DJ.

Needs more entertainment in the lounge bar area like a DJ or live band all weekend. Just Friday night wasn't enough, that way I wouldn't have to leave to go somewhere else.

Cute hotel, but we had some issues in terms of atmosphere. I have stayed at multiple hotels in the Palm Springs area, & this one definitely is the most overrun by kids! We had great service from the bar staff and enjoyed our food, but we were a little bit disappointed by the inability to have an adult convo and I had kids kicking me in the hot tub.

Rather overwhelmed by the energy of the children by the pool. It definitely did not have an adult or relaxing vibe! Wished there could have been a little more relaxation for the price of the stay.
