It was wonderful, and it felt like home. Very calm, quiet, and just relaxing. The staff is amazingly wonderful and helpful. I didn't realize I booked the mini apartment it was amazing. It had everything we needed. It even had its own private patio. It was like booking an airbnb with hotel prices. They even left us snacks on the dining room table. In the morning, there was a continental breakfast, and they had fresh baked bagels, pastries, yogurt with freshly made granola, muffins, and even hard-boiled eggs. The coffee was amazing. It was from a coffee shop named Koffie, I believe. The pool area had a lot of seating. There were bbqs, a pizza oven, and a popcorn machine. The grounds were covered in plants and trees with beautiful flowers. There's also a community kitchen for all the guests to use, which had coffee machines, water, ice, water bottles, and sparkling water. I would so recommend this place to everyone and I have already. I would definitely return to this hotel.

That I had to leave.

This is an older property but renovated with a “boutique y” feel. It’s compact and sheltered with green hedges and flowers so you don’t know a bustling city is right outside the gate. The staff are the best I’ve ever met with hospitality. Terry, Linda, and Stephen are all so wonderful with the little extra comforts they provide. The rooms line a sparkling pool and community area, right outside your door. And a fan fave is the popcorn popped fresh every night!

The shower is a smaller space like a phone booth. But still has everything you need. These rooms are bigger than most hotels and have a kitchenette.

We were greeted and checked in by Maria and immediately were so happy! She was delightful and took her time to make us feel so welcome and have a fun conversation. She is a GEM! The property is so charming and retro adorable. We had a packed schedule on our agenda but made time to sit by the pool and enjoy just soaking in the property because it was so fabulous. We loved that there was unlimited water and snacks were in our room. My sister even used the suntan lotion that was available. Our room/mini studio was so sweet and so clean. We even watched one of our old favorite movies on dvd. A great touch! Price was better than some others in the area and we know this property was way better.

The only thing that wasn’t great was the outdoor tv, which someone put on a channel that was a bit polarizing..in a common area…maybe not a great idea to have that. They could have watched that in their own room.

A really cute and lovely place to stay. Staff are incredibly friendly and foster a community vibe. It's like you are staying in a cute little desert oasis from the 1950s. Lots of included extras, you are not nickel and dimed for everything. The pool is actually heated and hot tub is great. Beautiful landscaping. Don't expect ultra modern luxury in your room but it is very comfortable and clean with everything you'd want. And the rooms are large. TVs even include a modern Apple TV to stream entertainment which is more than many large hotel chains will do. Basically a very fun and relaxing oasis, a true hidden gem.

Shower head was a little fiddly but thats the only nitpick I could find!

The pool was amazing, heated so it was nice to use in the evenings. Continental breakfast was a nice touch, saved us from having to go out each morning for a bite to eat. Towels, sunscreen, waters, all provided was awesome! Great friendly staff, willing to go out of their way to help.

Honestly I can't think of much. If I had to say something, it would be the bathrooms (shower & toilet areas) were a bit small, but I understand that's how it was back in the day, and they've kept that authentic mid-century modern vibe. Definitely nothing to keep us away. ;)

Staff was amazing and made our stay really pleasant. We arrived late in the evening, but they waited for us to check us in. After a night's sleep we decided to extend our stay for one day. Room was actually a small studio: bedroom/bathroom/kitchen and quite comfortable. The pool is just next to the rooms, so you open the door and fall inside. They provided plenty of perks (pool towels, sun lotion, bicycles to explore Palm Springs etc)

What a wonderful stay we had! Steve and the team were all so friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home from the start. The Desert Riviera is the perfect size if you're looking for a relaxing vacation - being able to take just a few steps from the room straight into the pool was such a treat. And we loved having the pool toys available for use - the flamingo was our favourite! The location was also excellent, a short walk to various restaurants, cocktail bars and a delicious ice cream shop. I would highly recommend staying here :-)

We loved everything!

I had a great experience during my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The hotel had everything I needed – privacy, comfort, and a relaxing atmosphere. It’s conveniently located, not far from downtown and close to everything in Palm Springs. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Palm Springs

The property was very comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. Bed was comfortable and everything you need was available, like sunscreen, drinks, stocked kitchen, snacks, games, movies and books.

The room was extremely comfortable but a strong smell odor of air fresheners. I wish it would have just smelled clean and not the smell of yucky potpourri. Because the room was clean no need to spray the chemicals.
