We stayed in a beach front villa as part of our honeymoon trip. The room was spacious, well laid out with the comfiest bed ever! The balcony overlooked the pool/beach so we were able to witness the most amazing sunsets whilst having a beer on the balcony/terrace. The staff are all very nice, they remember your name, room number and things you like. The owners also make an effort to introduce themselves and are present everyday to ensure your stay is perfect. Special mention to Nee (I think this was his name) he took our bags to the room and looked after reception some days. Great guy and very funny. The food and drinks are both incredible tasting and very well priced - in line with the island prices which was great value for money. (Morning smoothies are very special) Overall perfect resort - the negative comments on reviews are very very nit-picky. There are places in close proximity but 5 minutes walk. (The sacrifice you make for a secluded quiet beach resort). 100% recommend.

If you want to treat yourself or just have a perfect beach holiday. This is the place you need to go to. The owner Sam and Jackie make sure that all guests feel very welcome. The bungalows are astonishing beautiful and we loved to relax on our private terrace. Live music on Wednesdays, dinner and breakfast at the beach. Great breakfast. I could go on and on, amazing stay!

On the basis that we loved our stay: - the pool could be cleaned more often during the day - the beach sand next to the sunbeds should be thoroughly cleaned. We found some broken glass and sun shade equipment - on a windy day some sun shades were flying off and there was no response from the staff. Also, some holders of the sun shades are very rusty and therefore you could not fix it when the sun shades flew off.

Beautiful location. The rooms were very large and comfortable. The food was excellent and at a very reasonable price for this standard of hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

As non smokers we found that smoking was allowed at the restaurant and around the bar. Although they could argue that some of the tables are outside, it is still annoying to be covered in other peoples smoke when you are eating.

Lanta Palace may be the nicest place we have ever stayed. The bungalows are luxurious and the beach and pool are perfect. The breakfast offers many choices so even after staying a week, we did not tire of the offerings. The smoothies are incredible! We chose to eat dinner there every evening as the ambiance and food were fantastic. We stayed in the beachfront bungalow that I had read in previous reviews offered less than beach front views and little to no privacy. I’m so happy to report that this is not the case whatsoever! The shears on the windows allow for ample privacy during the day, and they have fantastic blackout curtains for the night. The view from our bungalow was stunning. The staff was incredibly attentive and in tune with our needs and the resort offers a tranquil and chill vibe that added to our blissful stay. We loved every single thing!!!

Lanta Palace is in the top three resorts we have visited over a 50 year travel experience. It is small, personal, beautifully situated, and utterly relaxing. The villas are large and beautifully fitted out, the surrounding gardens lush and green, and the pool of good depth and with a great view. The private beach is lovely. However the highlight for us was the restaurant— cascading over gentle levels onto the sand, it was a magical place particularly at sunset. The food was great—starting with a generous breakfast, and culminating in a beautiful dinner. We normally don’t eat many meals at our resort, favouring various neighbouring restaurants— here, we had every meal at the resort, and enjoyed everyone.

The chair in the room, and the balcony seat, were both uncomfortable—if you wanted to read in the A/C , it meant sitting on the bed

Words cannot describe our love for the Lanta Palace. We couldn't stop smiling from the moment we arrived. The resort is stunning with beautiful, luxurious, spacious bungalows that have everything you need. The pool area is so peaceful and relaxing. We spent many mornings and afternoons taking constant dips as we watched the palm trees sway and the ocean waves gently roll in whilst reading our books and sipping on a delicious cocktails. The restaurant is sensational! We planned on having some dinners in the local area but ended up eating at the restaurant our entire stay because we couldn't get enough of their incredible food and desserts (there chocolate ice cream is made on site and is easily the best we had ever tasted). The chef is a genius. The breakfasts are stacked with so many local and western options that will suit everyone's tastes. The staff are exceptional and so friendly, sweet and helpful. They truly made our stay so easy and went above and beyond to cater to anything and everything we may need. Special mention to Nee, Rai, Nat, Nok and Rin who were always checking in on us or giving us great advice or just having a friendly chat during our time there. The hotel was also really helpful in arranging day trips and car hire to explore the island. It's highly convenient having all those accomodations available at the front desk. Other things we liked were the massages by the beach, the boardgames and library of books available for guests to read, happy hour at the beachside bar, the beautiful sunsets over the ocean, the lush plants and gardens throughout the resort, the location of the property with a great cafe next door and massage spas across the road. Without a doubt we will return to this wonderful resort that we can not highly recommend enough!

This was our second visit to Lanta Palace and it gets better with each visit! The rooms are spacious, well thought out and tastefully decorated, the pool is the most relaxing place to spend the day lounging, reading a book and sipping on cocktails, the views are to die for , the restaurant is 5* with so much variety, great presentation and a delicious mix of western and Thai dishes. What makes this resort so special and the need to return other than the above points, are the staff. They are so welcoming, full of humour and take care of your every need. Having to leave

Absolutely gorgeous resort located right on the beach Spent ages trying to find the right place to stay and hit the jackpot here. If you're looking for a few days to just switch off this is the perfect place . Rooms are very big and were clean. Beds were so comfy, I woke up thinking I was in my own bed at home! A kayak is available for hire with no booking system, just help yourself. The hotel has a hut overlooking the beach for massages. The restaurant is lovely, the hotel has waiter service around the pool Breakfast is lovely with the best smoothies! Felt so refreshed after two nights here. Thank you The hotel is small and quiet, for us two nights was enough peace but that's just our preference and may suit most people!

Fantastic resort, beautiful pool and dining area for any time of day. The rooms are great, we especially enjoyed the beach front (B1) room and waking up to fantastic views each morning. Food in the restaurant is really good too and excellent value. The staff couldn't be more accommodating, shout out to all of them Khun Nee, Khun Cha and the whole squad. They were all fantastic. Owners are lovely and came to say hello at breakfast as well. Lovely private beach with crabs and very clean too compared to a couple of the beaches on Lanta. We'll definitely be back.

Only small issue was the water pressure in the shower could have been a bit better, but I was most disappointed with the fact thst I had to go back to reality when we checked out.

What's not to like about this beautiful hotel. We were already booked at the Sofitel in Klong Muang for a week but we booked a special trip to stay at Lanta Palace for our anniversary as it looked so amazing in the photos. I can honestly say it was better than any photos 🤩 The whole stay was perfect. A perfect place to chill out, relax in a tranquil setting. The rooms were beautifully designed with everything you needed and more, great air-conditioning, nespresso coffee machine. USB chargers and although we didn't use the mini bar, the prices were the same as the bar prices which I'm sure would be a bonus for many. Everyone went an extra mile to make our anniversary memorable from the flowers on the bed to our dining on the beach. The restaurant served huge portions of tasty food, the starters were main course sizes! Breakfast had a great selection in a buffet style with waiter service for eggs and smoothies which was a nice touch. Great coffee, I'm sure it was Nespresso too The staff are a credit to the owners of this stunning boutique hotel, who we chatted to after our meal...it was a pleasure to hear the story of the resurrection of the hotel. The hotel is a labour of love, and it shows by the happy staff, and chilled guests Thank you so much for a wonderful stay - we wished it was longer ❤️
