Staff was outstanding. Every encounter-- bar, front desk, valet, cleaning... all friendly and professional. Great sense of providing good service. Room was clean and modern. As others have stated-- a bit dark, especially in the bathrooms. I tend to like atmosphere over functionality anyway (and don't wear makeup) so I liked it! Cool building. Great lobby, bar, and lounge spaces. Clientele is largely New England ritzy. Jeez I forgot what deep old money feels like. Princeton, I guess. But fun.
Nice coffee bar options for easy breakfast, did not try sit-down. Reserving a table for dinner can be difficult on the weekends. Dinner was... OK. Simple, tasty menu but something was just slightly off for us. A little cold, a little soggy, a little mushy... everything just didn't quite click on the plate. Menu has potential to be easy and great.

Great lobby/lounge with coffee shop.
Lighting in the guest rooms is very dark nice if you want romantic moody lighting but if you want to read forget it. No glasses and only 1 cup in the room. There is no place to plug in the tea pot. The valet service is expensive and then you get messages every time you request your car asking for tips. The barista could have used help when there were lots of dining staff just hanging around. The hotel is new. Management needs to get some loose ends pulled together.

The hotel has a lot of personality and spaces to sit, work, eat, or meet up with a friend. The rooms are a nice size and the bathrooms are modern. The decor is creative and definitely has a Princeton University feel--in every way it pays tribute to the University.
The lobby is full of students working on laptops--sitting at what looks like a replica library. The motif of the place is a bit like being in Disney World and "feeling" like you are in a real place but knowing it's a replica. To actually be in Princeton and to be in a simulation of Princeton at the same time makes you feel a bit like an imposter. It's very trendy, but it's superficial. Some of the other hotels are not as trendy but their old stuff is actually old. So it depends on what you want. The experience is certainly "fun" and novel. The service at the restaurant is slow, as other have said. Takes a long time to get food. The food was pretty good, though.

It is a beautiful property—especially if you are disposed to appreciate the Princeton thing. The hotel is perfectly situated downtown, and downtown needed another hotel.
The rooms are beautifully if also somewhat previously appointed. Kinda small, and just so, in my view, overpriced.

Room was very nice. Staff was very helpful
When I booked the reservation the Booking.com Property Policy listed parking as $20 per night but they charge $43. Wanted to get a drink at the bar after we had dinner out but the bar was two deep and host said there was no waitress service unless we were eating dinner.

The decor was elegant with a touch of whimsy. The bathroom was luxurious with big thick towels and lots of space. The staff were delightful and the food superb-a flavorful steak for dinner and an absolutely delicious croissant for breakfast
The room needed another foot or two so that we could walk past the king size bed without having to turn sideways. The beautiful bathroom got demerits for unusually low water pressure

Great service at the bar/restaurant. Super friendly and went out of their way to find us snacks after restaurant closed and nowhere was open in town. Beautiful unique creative cozy elegant vintage-like decor in rooms, halls, lobby, etc! Amazing.

Wonderful hotel. Have been to the Graduate at Yale and love the theme of the university in the towns they are in. Very nice chain!
Cleaning crew knocked early in morning and we didn't know why as we were't ready to leave the room.

Small staff so things took a bit longer. However the staff were very helpful and friendly
