Great location, quiet, very easy access to mountain haruna and location for those initial D fans. With great parking. Very spacious room with a nice bath. Extra pillow in the cupboard was nice. Sweet Dihatsu midget rickshaw in the foyer 👌🏻 Would definitely stay again.
Really the only downside is the smoking room back on to the carpark and the industrial AC unit from the hotel across the road are a little bit loud.

Very good location. Walking distance to Ikaho Onsen Street, and convenient stores. Staffs are very friendly. Nice view from our room. You could enjoy a nice morning and night walk to onsen street.
The general facilities are little bit old than we aspected. There is no electronic kettle in the room, but they do provide a pot of hot water. For us who drinks a lots of coffee and tea, it is a little bit inconvenient. The public bath is smaller than we thought, but it did the job.

The location was good at the end of a quiet road. Staff were very helpful all of the time and did their best. An English member of staff was there at booked meal times. The Mountain View room was beautiful and spacious. The coffee machine and coffee provided were good quality.
Lamps for reading by the bed would be nice. In the early season there are few restaurants open in the evening so make sure you book dinner at the hotel for at least the first night or research where you can go. Staff were helpful at showing you restaurants on a map.

Once we found the place, we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in every way. It’s an older style place, very spacious, very Showa period. The room was big, the hot spring bath relaxing and the food was good. They also have a ‘happy hour’.
It took us a while to find it. We got off the bus at miharashishita bus stop and the walk was basically uphill all the way.

The view from our room and the lounge/cafe area was spectacular. The dinner and breakfast were both great. The hotel is dated but in a charming way. They switch the onsens so men and women can try both, I loved the open air one the most.

I loved the place. I have never stayed in a hotel that I would have loved more. It was my first experience with hot springs and I enjoyed them a lot. Why not a full smile for bed: my arthritis and futon were not the best friends, haha! But that was not hotel's fault. But I managed well enough. And I have never had a more beautiful view from a hotel window.

Hot spring Hotel Staff Room andthen. Punctual and very helpful.
Hot springs are only available to men from 3 AM to 10 AM. No bar. Not so great massage. Lounge has very limited hours. You have to include meals when you book or they are unavailable to you unless you add them. 4400 yen per person per day for adding dinner...make sure you pick a meals included package if you want them. No English as per usual with most places outside of Tokyo.

Staffs were very helpful. Location was ok, just 10mins walk from the Ikaho onsen stone steps bus terminal. Hotel room was big and clean. Love the view from my room window.

The room was enormous and had a jaw dropping view of the mountains. The hotel is in a good position relative to the town so fewer hills to climb each day.
