Loved the decor, bed linens were spotless and all obviously high quality. Loved the walk-in shower instead of bath. Didn’t dine in the restaurant on this occasion, but breakfast was excellent. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Great location, parking was close and convenient.

Our room was very warm, but probably as much our own fault as we didn’t attempt to check out how the air conditioning unit worked until the next morning before we were leaving, although the radiator seemed to be stuck at number three, so we couldn’t turn it off either. We were in room 12 and I found it a bit strange that the windows did not open and would have preferred it if even one of them had. Not faults as such, just personal preferences, as our stay in general was very pleasant.

The hotel was situated in a perfect location & we were warmly welcomed by William at reception who directed us to our room which had all of the amenities we needed along with a luxurious decor & a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was beyond all expectation, the quality & variety of food was exceptional with some very different & delicious options & vegan alternatives, the atmosphere and table arrangements were very pleasant & our breakfast server Vangre was so lovely and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. Our evening meal was also top notch with a fabulous selection of great food & a wonderful choice in beautiful surroundings with great service from Tyler & Sree. All in all we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

I can’t think of anything & would be very happy staying here on future visits to Portrush. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We (three of us) could not fault this hotel on anything. The 'deor' was very tasteful, hotel was clean, staff and the owner Charlotte were very helpful and friendly, beds were comfortable, room was warm, toiletries were lovely, shortbread was delicious as were the Christmas cocktails, the breakfast was great - taste and choice and very quickly served. We would definitely recommend this hotel. It was great that we could get a triple room. Thank you Charlotte and staff at the Elephant Rock for a very pleasant stay.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like. The only thing, which isn't a bad thing, was that we found the Club sandwich was more than we could eat!!!!

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do enough for us. We had drinks after checking in and the cocktails were really well made. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both meals were outstanding. The breakfast is served to the table and the server was so helpful and got everything we asked for. Really loved our stay here. The rooms were fabulous and the decor is very impressive. Beds really comfy and the bathrooms are very spacious. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone travelling to the area to stay here. Views from the front of the hotel are beautiful.

Nothing! Wished we had longer to stay at the hotel. One night wasn’t enough :)

Our room was spectacular! The bathroom gorgeous! It’s not often you find a king size bed. The staff was one the best we encountered on our 14-day trip. We ate dinner in the restaurant because we could not find anywhere else to eat (Saturday without reservations in May!) It was honestly one of the best meals we had! I cannot say enough nice things about this property. So well done.

Noise from the bar below from late party goers. Unfortunately we understand this can't be helped! We just had to close our windows.

Not my first stay here; we came back again and it was just as good as before. From the welcome at the door, offers to carry our bags, table service at the bar... I just enjoyed the feeling of being treated like a guest. Facilities were superb, no trouble parking and even breakfast felt that little bit special. When you see the run-down couldn't-care-less attitude of 'cram them in and take the money' hotels not far away this is worlds apart.

This hotel is gorgeous. The room was very quirky and different, and we booked a sea room which was beautiful. The shower was great and the amenities were from Field Day, which was lovely to see the hotel working with a local business. The staff were extremely helpful including the night porter who spoke with us when we got in late that night. The cocktail bar was amazing too. It’s also well situated with parking outside and it’s easy to walk to all the popular restaurants and bars.

Very modern, chic and excellent location.

Nothing really, however, breakfast service was quite slow and fruit/yoghurt/granola forgotten about. Staff seemed quite new at breakfast, however, overall we found staff to be super friendly and efficient.

Staff were great, location looking over the sea was great. Room was nice. Great seating area both out the front looking over sea and an upstairs roof type terrace bar to catch the sun in the evening. Food was amazing! Great range of cocktails. Staff couldn’t be better.

For £280 I would have expected a king size bed instead of 2 singles pushed together would have been more comfortable. Weather was very warm and the ac didn’t work.

The decor is gorgeous, the staff are friendly, the food is really good, there's a real buzz about the place. It's such a quirky hotel, so much thought has gone into every aspect, from the bedrooms to the cocktail bar. On top of everything else, there's free car parking right outside and the hotel is walking distance to Portrush, which has an array of bars and restaurants to choose from although we are at Elephant Rock and can 100% recommend, it is just a special place to visit.
