Everything, We went away for my fiancees birthday, from the moment we arrived and were greeted by a woman with blonde hair that took our name and directed us where to drive to park the car (she was really friendly and so nice to talk to and went out of her way to make us feel welcome, she directed us up to the hotel and we were met by a young man that was also extremely polite that showed us to a parking space that was reserved, we entered the hotel and to the right as you walk in is the reception the woman that was sitting there was also extremely polite even tho we had arrived early than expected but that was no problem, the room was sorted for us and on entering the room they had left out a happy birthday with sweets on it that we thought where very good off them and the room was the most homely hotel room that we have ever stayed in and the staff really go out of their way to make you feel at home and nothing is an issue (I have honestly never had service like it before in my life) the food is something else and tbh I can be funny about food due to I was a chef so I can be very picky about everything on the plate and how it is cooked and if something isn't cooked right or there is a lazy chef that cuts corner or has lost their love for cooking but that is not the case with this chef this chef cooks from the heart and should be giving stars for doing it, we had the turkey and ham and the roast beef that was cooked perfect it came with veg with all the goodness in it and not boiled away to mush, the mash potatoes perfect, the roast potatoes cooked perfect not cooked like some other places where they would break your teeth Yorkshire pooding cooked perfect along with a sauce in it that will hit your taste buds full of flavour the crambery sauce for the turkey and ham isn't like that cheap stuff that you get in some places it tasted fresh.

I honestly can not say anything that we didnt like.

Location, location , location!!!!Great hikes right out of the door. Great views. The Staff was very polite and willing to help. We stayed in a room with a terrace - it was close to a walking path, but not too bothersome. Go down to the Causeway before breakfast - quiet and you'll have it to yourself.

The mattress had some springs sticking out, consequently we slept in separate beds :( As an old and charming hotel- the place could use some "facelift". The hotel is a main hub for The Causeway - very busy with tour busses and traffic in general. Would love to have a tiny fridge and a microwave in the room.

Everything was great. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was tasty with good selection, however coffee could be stronger. We also had dinner on two nights which we enjoyed. A nice bonus was that admission to the visitors' centre was free with our hotel stay included the guided tours of the Causeway.

We stayed for two nights, and unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 4:30 AM on one night and again at 6:00 AM the following day. The batteries in the safe were flat, so it wasn’t working. Our room also didn’t have a 'Do Not Disturb' sign, and the bath was missing a bath mat, which made it quite slippery.

The hotel is exceptional. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. The restaurant was wonderful. But the feature that stood out most of all ... was the room. Our room was at the end of the hotel, and the "balcony" was the end unit showing views of all three sides of the property, including trails down to the Causeway itself. We were extraordinarily fortunate ... the famous Irish weather held off and we were treated to gorgeous views of the sunset, all while sitting outside and relaxing in the brisk Irish evening air. What a great evening we had. The Giant's Causeway is quite heavily covered with tourists. The Causeway Hotel attempts to strike a balance ... trying to accommodate the huge number of visitors, all the while trying to provide a comfortable and welcoming respite ... an oasis amongst the crowds. For us, the Hotel succeeded wonderfully in hitting that balance. (We very much appreciated the automagic for free parking and entry into the Causeway Visitor Center.) Great restaurant, very relaxing. And the room ... just wonderful.

We last stayed here in December and were kept awake one night during a storm by part of the roof flapping about. Also the TV didn't work. We were offered an upgrade and booked for a stay in April. We were given a room at the front of the hotel with a magnificent view looking west. The room was much the same as the one we had in December - spacious with a large bathroom. The TV in this room didn't work properly either. Breakfast is very good - plenty of choice. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Parking is right outside the property and if you don't have National Trust membership the hotel will give you a pass to visit the Giant's Causeway which is close by.

If you are visiting the Causeway Coast this hotel is right next to the National Trust Visitor Centre. This is good for viewing the Giant's Causeway early in the morning before the hordes of tourists arrive. All the hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast is included (a definite plus) and there is a very good choice of food.

The TV didn't work and even after one of the staff had 'fixed it' it did not access many channels including all the BBC channels. There was a high wind during our second night and there was lot of banging. Next morning I could see a piece of lead flashing just above our room had broken off and was flapping about in the wind.

This hotel is right next to the Giant's Causeway and so convenient. Right next door is the visitors center where you can explore info about the site and get an audio guide to use while you explore the causeway. Being able to just go back to your room after hiking was icing on the cake. We also ate dinner and breakfast here (breakfast was included in our reservation) and found both to be enjoyable. I thought our dinner was tasty. Had the burger, fish and chips, and chicken carbonara (3 in our party). Perfectly good and satisfying. We also had a few drinks in the bar after dinner and enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast was good as well imo, and we felt well fed from the continental offerings plus made-to-order choices from the menu (all included). Our room (no. 18 with a terrace) was fairly spacious and had a coffee machine and coffee pods with extras. Shower/bath combo in the bathroom with hot water and good pressure. Beds were comfortable and our room was toasty warm all night. Since it was more off season, the Giant's Causeway was not quite as crowded, especially after the center closed for the day. We went exploring after the center closed and tour buses left, and had the place mostly to ourselves. While this property is older/historic it appears to be in good repair and maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable, and everything was in working order. We were moving pretty slow in the morning and asked for and received an extra hour to check out of the room which was very appreciated. Overall, we felt well cared for here and would return.

On entering our room we realized there were only two sets of towels. We had to request an extra set for the third person (triple room) twice before finally getting another set. Also, there were no chairs on the terrace. The rooms with terrace and sea view did have chairs. Even though we didn't have an official "sea view" we did have a peekaboo view and would have liked to sit out on the terrace when it wasn't as windy as it was still a lovely space.

We loved waking up to the beautiful view from our hotel room. We were walking distance from the giant's causeway, which was ideal since we had our 3 year old son. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. The only issue we had was they didn't have a fridge in the bedroom so we kept my son's milk on ice. We would love to come back with him when he is older! Our 3 year old had fun running around outside, seeing the sheep, and interacting with staff! We loved our stay!

Only issue was there was no fridge.

We came here 6 years ago and liked it so much we came back. Something’s have changed since like rising restaurant prices due to Covid but this is the same everywhere in the surrounding location. Beautiful grounds and nice connection to the visitor centre next door.

We were put in a room directly above the bar, which disturbed our sleep the first night. The second night, there was a live musician it was so loud in our room the floor vibrated due to the sound. Thankfully the staff gave us another much quieter room down the hall but it would have been nice to have the heads up/not have had that room in the first place.

the staff were so efficient and polite. nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent, the portions were very generous. Breakfast was unrushed and loved that he food was freshly cooked.

the room was a little tired decoratively, i couldn't reach the safe; I am only 5foot 2 inches, the safe was on the top shelf of the wardrobe. I was surprised there was no fridge in the room. i take medication that needed to be refrigerated, so it was a bit of a faff making sure i had ice to keep it cool
