Hotel had been recently updated and so was my room. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also great.

Be warned, parking is an additional $8/day. I prefer to not be surprised and have the rate clearly include parking as the filter I used was 'parking included' when I did my search.

The receptionist was kind and helped with check-in and check-out quickly. The room was clean and equipped with all necessary facilities. A great breakfast was provided.

The soundproofing wasn't very good — noise from the windows and doors could be disturbing.

Hotel has excellent rooms, spacious, big comfy beds and extra comfy pillows which is very important for me while on journey. Location is pretty suitable cause it’s about to 20 min drive to many famous locations like Hollywood, St.Monica, Getty Museum…

Loved that there was continental breakfast and that they have conjoined rooms.

There was a weird smell when you first walk into the hotel but i'm pretty sure it was just from the construction going on as the hotel was being remodeled.

Yes they went to clean the room really early in the morning at 7:07 in the morning when we were still sleeping. The room was nice but I felt like it could have been more clean. I feel like it was to much money for just the two nights that we stayed.

Holiday inn express in Van Nuys property needs some remodeling. It’s gated and charge for parking ($8 a day) cheaper than other hotels. Area is a bit rough but we didn’t have any issues.

The breakfast was amazing and staff were very nice.

Everything, it was quiet, even with the construction. It was clean, bright and inviting. The breakfast bar was 10/10!

The location is a bit out of the way if you're on foot but that's my only complaint!

i think overall it was great and comfortable.

the only problem was that I could not shutdown the AC as the door to the fan would not open, I reported it to the girl in the front desk.
