Really pleasant friendly owner who runs this family run hotel on a day to day basis who went out of his way to be helpful. I enjoyed the stay so much that I booked in for some extra time. Aircon was quiet and worked well. A must in the high summer temperatures. Really interesting old building. Sansepolcro is a lovely quiet town with lots of interesting buildings, museums, shops, friendly people and really nice food. Local coop supermarket provides a great range of local food and there are several smaller food shops in the town itself. Cafes and restaurants abound in the town. I would go back to Hotel Oroscopo again any time if I could.

Hotel itself was great and there was nothing that was not to like. It's a bit of a walk from the centre of Sansepolcro and the path is not easy to wheel a suitcase along. In a few places the path disappears completely, meaning that you have to walk at the edge of the road for a short distance. The drivers seems well aware of this and I did not feel at risk at all. That said it was still worth the walk.

It was really nice the hotel let us check-in early. I had a really great conversation with the main staff there on the history of the establishment and how a family runs this business. Although I have to say an electric kettle in the room was a bit old(bottom surface coming off), the room was clean and our needs were covered. Really appreciated how the hotel kept some of the vintage quality while updating the room with modern appliances. The breakfast felt very homey and warm.

I appreciated how spacious the room was for myself and my mother. However, the shower was kind of ridiculously and surprisingly small that I thought for a second that I wouldn't fit in or let alone move while taking a shower. It will add a huge value if they renovated the bathrooms. Also, I would have appreciated it if I had more control on lighting in the room as it was too bright when I put on, but too dark if I don't turn on the light. The bus from Arezzo to this establishment, we were planning to take, was not in service as it was a holiday. We had no choice but to take a taxi and it costed us about 80 EUR. It's definitely harder to reach compared to other hotels, but it well worth the time, money, and effort!

Great location and great value. Breakfast is very good, the room is bright and spacious, very clean and the bathroom is big and well furnished. Air conditioning is great in summer. The receptionist is outstanding: friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and fluent in multiple languages.

Very friendly host and generous breakfast with home made cakes and jams. Large comfortable room with all facilities. Conveniently located in a quiet neighbourhood a 15 minute walk from the centre of town. The town has some good restaurants and the best of all the Museo Civico with its beautiful painting by Piero della Francesca.

The decor and collections of items on display are very interesting. The host was very helpful....carrying our luggage as there is no lift. Parking is easy, in the grounds. We had a very good meal in the restaurant next door, which is not part of the hotel. The hotel is in a suburban street.

There were road works n the main roads and the road was closed to get to the hotel. Our SATNAV could not cope ...but eventually we navigated our way. It would have been helpful to have been informed.

Plenty of hot water, spacious and quiet room, comfortable bed, very helpful and Pleasent host. The supporting restaurant next door to the hotel was excellent. What more could you ask for!

A few coffee sachets would have been helpful.

The rooms are clean and fresh, and nicely furnished. The bed is very comfortable. They also have ac/heating, which worked great in a chilly evening. The receptionist is great: smooth check in (he speaks good English), and knowledgeable about the area. He and his family prepare a fantastic homemade breakfast!! there is also a pool, which unfortunately we didn’t get to use. Definitely worth the money: my wife and I loved our stay there and wish we could have stayed longer!

The hotel room was clean and I liked the antique touch of the interior design. The hotel owner was very communicative and he always had a nice smile. The breakfast was tasty! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay!
