Fantastic location. Ample parking. Staff was very nice. Was able to check in online to save time at the desk. I appreciated the complementary bottles of water we were given upon arrival and after checking out. Was also pleasantly surprised that housekeeping cleaned the room after our 1st night. I can’t remember the last time I’ve stayed at a place where they still do that. I really liked that they have dispensers now for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion, and that Dove products are used. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely stay there again next time we’re in the area.

Would have liked if the hand soap was also liquid instead of the tiny bar (there was an empty dispenser spot on the wall - so maybe that is in the works?). We did not take advantage of the breakfast due to time constraints on our part. I wish the muffins had been individually packaged so we could take one with us to eat in the car on our day trip - we had a bunch of bags, etc. that we were handling so it wasn’t really easy to handle an “open” muffin along with all of that. The only other downside I can think of was the on-screen tv guide. You cannot control it - it’s constantly scrolling. Trying to figure out which channels we were searching for was difficult because of that.

My son and I stayed one night at the Wingate as a stop halfway between our home and our actual destination. The hotel is located directly off the interstate near several restaurants, gas stations, and the Grove City Outlet Mall. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is not the cheapest hotel at this exit, but it is not the most expensive either. For a short stay, I think it is perfect and assume we will/. would stay there again should we visit the area in the future.

The dining area is under construction. The hotel has a large clear piece of plastic covering that area, I assume it will be a huge improvement once completed, but currently, it is sort of an eyesore. Along the same lines, my son and I were placed in a room on the first floor and directly outside our window was a very bright spotless projecting onto the side of the building. It was very difficult to block out that light when we went to sleep.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Robin at the breakfast bar was exceptionally kind and helpful! The accessibility suit was fantastic. I have never seen such a well appointed accessible bathroom. Grab bars in all the right placements and longer than average so no matter how you help yourself into the facilities you can. The shower had two places for the shower head and the lower one swiveled up and down. There was even a shower bench that was removable! If you are there to shop at the outlet mall, all you have to do is cross the street.

The indoor pool was under construction. However, it will be ready for our next visit! 😀

The included breakfast was good. Enough hot and cold choices available. Coffee was good as well as a variety of juices. Dining area was never crowded. The staff was very cordial and friendly and quick to respond to items requested for the room. They were able to accommodate our room request as well.

We stayed at this hotel under a different hotel name previously which had a functioning pool. The pool was not available as they apparently are 7th in line awaiting a part to repair it. Hoping that the pool will be operational on a future visit.

The location was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was great, it was relatively quiet throughout our stay and the staff was phenomenal! Coffee available 24/7 is a big plus. I will definitely be staying here on future visits to the area.

The room was a little dated. The carpet and couch looked like they were straight out of the ‘70’s! That being said, the couch was comfortable.

What a wonderful value and a breakfast that was so very worthwhile. I would stay here again.

The desk person reacted indifferently when I asked him about the security of the parking lot as I had some items in there that were reasonably important. He sort of scoffed at my question. I'm a professional communications consultant and I know vehicle security is a critical concern when traveling for all the obvious reasons. If you don't have a security camera in the parking lot, you ought to, given that this hotel is in a high traffic area. A desk person should take a question like this very seriously and have a rood answer for when the question is asked. He failed at this.

Very clean. Room was very comfortable. Bed pillows were much nicer than most hotel bed pillows. Staff was excellent in all respects. Breakfast was very good, many items to choose from, and everything was fresh and tasty.

There were two aspects of the visit that I found less appealing. First, access to the property is by a very narrow entrance that is somewhat at an angle to a dog leg road. It makes entry and exit a bit challenging until you become accustomed to it. Second, the hotel does not provide individual toiletries. They use larger containers of a good quality brand, (Dove) but they are anchored in racks to the wall and refilled as necessary.  I realize that intellectually, this really makes no difference, but I have to admit it felt less sanitary to me.

The location for my needs was perfect. The motel inside was clean and without the typical musty smells. I didn’t use the breakfast facilities, but the oranges, bananas and coffee 24-7 were much appreciated. As requested they had a ground level room reserved for me. I arrived far before the normal check in time, but they had a room ready and I was allowed to move in anyway.

I think more attention should be spent keeping the outside entrance clean of bits of trash and cigarette butts as this is your FIRST impression of the property walking up.

I was very happy with the friendliness of the staff, but especially happy with the cleanliness of the room! I am always leery to book a new pet friendly hotel and I was very pleasantly surprised with how clean everything was and how reasonable the pet fee was for our dog.

There was a bit of construction going on, but nothing that affected us or our stay.

Well we had been away from home 3 months….. We had the best sleep ever in that amazing king size bed with tons of pillows….it was just what we needed after a 16 hour day driving straight from Florida…leaving at 330am…we asked for a later check in…which they acknowledged by email… And the breakfast was 10/10!! Best ever in a hotel…such a variety everything fresh..staff topping things up… On top of the fact that it was full of hydro workers maybe 20 eating breakfast and poor local people displaced from the storms raging thru and cutting their hydro off…the staff were amazing….no one was flustered…and as the breakfast room filled the hydro men poured out into the parking lot and had their meeting… You asked…I delivered!!!
