Great property with lots of nature surrounding it. A big group of peacocks lives there, and they stroll around the property. Rooms are a good size and clean. The adjacent restaurant is really nice too. The staff is extremely friendly! Since we were there in winter, we will come back to check it out in the summer time.

It is located in a old part of the Abbey, now in ruines. You have all the comfort you need. The diner is a la carte and the breakfast is more than enough. Quiet and beautifull.

This is a fabulous historic location, the Klosterschaenke is part of a whole complex including the ruins of a convent and various other old buildings. It's a restaurant/bar with rooms but very nice ones, plenty of space and nicely designed and fitted out. Beds were comfy and it was a very quiet location at night. They serve an excellent buffet breakfast and also make food in the evenings. Staff were helpful and attentive.

What we had for dinner was fairly mediocre and quite pricey, maybe we weren't lucky in our choices. Otherwise no complaints and the room price was good value.

Booked this hotel on the way back and very much liked it. Pleasant welcome by the owner himself, very nice and pleasant surroundings near the ruins of a monastery, a beautiful and large pond, adjacent forest with large English garden, hiking and biking trails that pass there. Simple room but clean and all amenities, but everything was clean and spacious, maybe look for new pillows, price/quality 10/10. We also took dinner there and again everything was very fine. Friendly and correct service and above all: delicious food. For us again a 'could hardly be better'. At breakfast you get more than enough, a personal service and several times the hostess even came to ask if we needed anything. Price-quality deserves more than 10/10 for us. Tip because I'm a technician: try to investigate the possibility of generating electricity with your so beautiful water mill next to the hotel.

Very nice garden and pool area. A tasty breakfast including fresh orange juice and som local products. The room was large with perfect beds. Easy to find and a very helpful owner.

For a tall person, the room is a little cramped.

The evening meal was extremely good; breakfast fairly standard but completely acceptable. The bed was very comfortable.
