Nice location just cross the road by the clean beach, where the hotel had their own beach beds - huge bonus for that. Supermarket and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk, and more on the other side of this cosy small town, only ten minute walk. Modernly decorized rooms with a balcony. Staff was very helpfull, breakfast with their home made? pastries was served in the upper floor with a tranquil atmosphere and a sea view. Also they have their own parking place, as the beach road is usually fully packed.

Would have loved the sea view, but made the reservation too late. We were not aware that the Cretan holidays had just begun.

Everything was perfect. The host was incredibly kind — she helped us book a boat ride for the next day and even packed us breakfast to go since we had an early departure. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and shower. The location is ideal: just a few steps from the beach, and within easy walking distance to both the village center and the port.

There’s only a light curtain, so the room gets quite bright at night due to the outside lighting.

Perfect little hotel. Family run with lovely Greek hospitality. Nothing is too much trouble. Every need is catered for. Clean, comfortable and well appointed bedrooms - insect screens on the window and patio doors a plus. Delicious home cooked breakfast, cooked by the mother and taken on the upper terrace with glorious sea views was a great start to the day. Thank you very much for hosting us.

Blue Horizon was everything we hoped and more and Maria, George and the rest of the staff made us feel welcome and at home. We were hiking to Souglia on our last day and would miss breakfast as a result. Marias team put together a huge selection for us, in advance, and had it deliver to our room the evening prior. This gesture was so appreciated. Thank you thank you!

Ideal place for breakfast on the top of the building with view on the beach/sea. Very good choice and freshly made. Rooms are big with very good bed and even electronic 'window' fence to put room in full darkness. Small parking behind the hotel,but also in front of hotel there was space (begin oct) + dedicated beach beds + umbrella provided by hotel on the beach

The Blue Horizon at Paleochora is a fantastic hotel perfectly located directly at sandy Ammos beach and a few minutes walk to the center. The clean and quiet rooms are spacious with modern, tasteful, and comfortable furniture. The landlord family is very friendly and helpful. A special highlight is the delicious breakfast served on the second floor terrace with sea view. We will certainly come back.

We LOVED this hotel. Conveniently located a one-minute walk to a beautiful, sandy beach with beds. The beds are free for hotel guests. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchenette. The family that runs the hotel is so kind and helpful. We left for activities two mornings before breakfast was served. They prepared and brought us breakfast food the night before. The normal breakfast food spread was delicious and had lots of a variety. The homemade pastries were so yummy. The center of town is a five-minute walk away. The hotel has a private parking lot in the back. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location! About 5 minutes walk from Palaiochora center. Hotel was very clean and stylish. The personnel were absolutely fantastic! Very helpful and polite. We loved the view from the buffet area (hotel terrace). The buffet was great, it had many options including homemade scrambled eggs.

The location is great, has a beautiful terrace, with stunning views, it can be used at any time. Breakfast was excellent, the staff also can organise a packed breakfast if you wanna leave early for any day trip. That was lovely

Unfortunately due to low season the sun loungers were not available... However there are plenty of opportunities next door,, but had to pay for it.

Excellent hotel and staff really friendly and helpful. Seafront location lovely with views over the sea. Breakfasts were superb. Choice of cereals and toppings, yoghurt and fruit., eggs cooked how wanted along with fruit juice and plate of Cretan breakfast items, bread and coffee etc. Rooms very clean and kettle supplied. Price reasonable. Would thoroughly recommend.
