We stayed for several days and had a wonderful experience. What stood out the most was the kindness of the staff, who were always helpful, friendly, and showed great flexibility in accommodating our needs. The location is perfect—very central and safe, making it easy to get around on foot or by public transport. The hotel’s restaurant also offers excellent service, with a good variety of quality options. Throughout our stay, we felt the team was truly attentive and willing to adapt, showing great responsiveness and attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again.

It is a trade-off but the hotel has no gym, swimming pool or other amenities.

This guesthouse was very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and the room had all of the amenities that I needed. There was good wifi, a TV, coffee station, fridge, air conditioning, and mosquito net. I really enjoyed the breakfast that was included in my stay.

Although this would be out of the control of the hotel owners, the hotel is located in front of a park. There was quite a bit of noise in the evening. It did become quiet when it was time to sleep. There were also a few mosquitos in my room, so I used the provided mosquito net while sleeping. There was a strong smell of mosquito repellant (or cleaning supplies) in my room.

The lovely people of Sundown went out of their way to help and accommodate me after I realized that I did not want to spend a second night in the Green Stay House Hotel in Maputo. Within the hour Mr. Bernardo came to pick me up from there and I arrived to a beautiful room with all the amenities, with breakfast on the patio and a relaxing atmosphere. I cannot thank them enough for their superb care and kindness. I highly recommend staying here, I wish I had found them from day one! You made my stay in Maputo wonderful and put a big smile on my face!

Exceptional guest house. Denis was welcoming and most accommodating. The room was incredible and had everything we needed to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The restaurant food was delicious. We will most certainly frequent again this guest house whenever we are in Maputo.

It was tricky avoiding guests who spoked in the outdoor part of the restaurant. It was lovely sitting outside to eat but with public smoking was not nice. I wish the place had a bit more strict policies against public smoking

Overall a great experience staying at Sundown Guest House, the rooms were excellent, the staff very very helpful and the on-site restaurant has pretty good food.

The location is a bit far from the sights in Maputo other than that it's all good

We stayed at Sundown Guest House for one night on our way home. The place is very neat and modern and the staff is very welcoming. We were coming from a long trip from the north of Mozambique and it was great to relax and have a good night's rest in such a conformable room.

Beautiful room equipped with every necessity. Owner (Denis) was friendly and extremely accommodating. Room was beautiful, and very comfortable. Thank you Denis, you will certainly see us again

The place was good and clean, very spacious, and comfortable. The services were great, and the personnel were friendly and helpful. It was very central and next to where I was working.

The Breakfast was really good, but it took ages to be served.
