The facilities were in good condition, clean and in good repair. We were surprised to find two good bath robes for use. The property's location made it easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

One of the bulbs in the overhead light would intermittently flicker. Not a major distraction. Had to park in the street most of the time because of limited parking.

Perfect location, large comfortable quiet room. Easy check-out. Excellent details. Right in the middle of all the restaurants. Close to hikes, the ski lift, the river.

I had a fireplace in the room, which was lovely. The hearth was clean and well-maintained, but people with allergen sensitivities might need to take medication overnight due to trace particulates in the air, or stay in a room without a fireplace. The parking lot on site is small, which was no problem on the shoulder season when there was plenty of street parking, but might pose a problem during high seasons.

Loved having direct access to the courtyard from my ground floor room. The common area was beautiful and comfortable.

No fault of the lodge, but there was no power from 9:45 pm until morning on the first night. Also the noise from neighbors was noticeable.

The room had a mini fridge that was a little bigger than the average mini fridge. That was helpful in holding all of the food we brought to help us keep our costs down. There was a square table with two chairs. Four chairs would’ve been nice. There was a place to keep all of our skis, board, coats, etc. There wasn’t a ton of room, but we did have enough room to walk around a little bit. My husband tried out the jacuzzi and said it was great! The location was great. We were within walking distance of many shops in town. And it was a short drive to the ski resort. We were right in between Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain. We would definitely come back.

The lodge is a very short block or two from all the best Ketchum restaurants and bars. Also it’s less than one very short block to catch the free ski bus in the morning ( my wife and I walked it easily in ski boots with all our gear on). Bus stop on return from skiing is 75 feet from the lodge. We spent a week here and never wanted or needed our car. The standard king room was huge, actually a studio, and nicely updated with a complementary coffee maker (get pod refills at the front desk), small fridge, and microwave, and everything in perfect working order. Bed was super comfy with nice linens. Staff were top-notch…friendly and responsive.

We occasionally heard noise from adjacent rooms, so not super sound proof, but never awakened or disturbed by raucous guests (we’re fun people, but we’re in our sixties, so after a long day on the ski hill and dinner, we need rest…hahaha)

Tamarack lodge is within walking distance of everything in Ketchum - I even walked to the YMCA for a workout in the morning. Everything is very close. You can even walk to Sun Valley - it’s straight up the road on the bike path

Cleaning is every 3 days (this is pretty normal now).

We had a great stay at Tamarack Lodge. It’s well maintained, the room was updated and quiet, the courtyard is great, and you can’t beat the location. We walked everywhere. We will definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shopping. Overall the property was in very nice condition. Parking was convenient right next to the hotel. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Would stay there again.

Quiet, comfortable bed, walking distance to all the downtown shops and restaurants.

No elevator. As an older in our 70’s it was a little difficult taking our luggage up and down the stairs.

The property is located convenient to downtown Ketchum. Able to walk around for meals and shopping very easily. People were very friendly.

The only negative was the carpet was a little dirty and no elevator and I was on the third floor.
