The staff were lovely, really helpful and very friendly and personable. Great people and made the experience so much better. Room was nice, good facilities and cosy. Private sauna was great and really needed some days! What a great thing! Breakfast was lovely and a great start to the morning. The hotel also does an evening menu and the food on that was also superb.

It was all perfect!

Everything was very clean, simple, but nice and cozy furnished. We had what we needed, breakfast was good, the personal was really polite and helpful. When we arrived at 20:30 h, it was possible to order a warm meal, which was great. There is a small restaurant and lounge with TV next to the reception. The hotel is small, approx. 4 km away from Kemi city centre (possible to walk), well situated on a bigger street, but nevertheless very calm with a big forrest behind the hotel. The hotel has also a sauna and a roof terrace where you can watch the stars and even the northern lights. The personal and hotel director are really engaged, although their English is not the best. We were quite satisfied. :)

There is nothing we have to complain.

The breakfast is very good, in a well decorated, cosy and familiar room. The beds are comfortable. We all slept well. The kitchen in the triple room is well equipped for an evening picnic

There is a regular water circulation noise from the wc, but it does not really bother your sleep.

The hosts were warm and wonderful. It was like meeting up with an old friend. The view to the forest from our window was magical with snow-filled trees. We called to say we would arrive late and they waited for us. They also made the buffet breakfast available for an extra 30 minutes. Delicious meatballs!

The owners were incredibly helpful, even extending to giving us a lift for a very modest charge, to the Tornio, the local public transport schedule having defeated us.

It is a long way out of town, and that means taxis normally, but the help given us this time means that we will stay here if we come this way again

Nice down to earth type of hotel with great friendly staff. A little bit quirky but if you look past that this is a very nice cost effective place to stay. The food was really nice and fresh. We really enjoyed our stay.

Decided to stay there because of the photos and was not disappointed, this place is beautiful, especially with piles of snow surrounding it. The view from the room window was like a real winter wonderland. The whole hotel has a very nice atmosphere. I also loved the sauna experience! It is located in the little lighthouse on the top of the hotel. You can book it for your room at the reception, so it's all just for you. Afterwards you can go out to the terrace to enjoy the view and the winter air. Breakfast was tasty and the choices were ok, I think everyone can find something for themselves. You also have access to the shared kitchen with coffee&tea. What really cemented my opinion of this place though was the way staff and owners were doing their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was truly what elevated the whole experience. They told us about the history of the place and went out of their way to help us. I would definitely come back there, maybe in summer for comparison! :)

The only thing that can cause problems is the fact that it is a little far away from city center. I would recommend going by car or getting a taxi, especially if you have a bigger luggage. But well, you wouldn't be able to have such a picturesque spot in the middle of Kemi!

Clean and comfortable room, nice breakfast. We liked the quiet location outside of town, but that works best if you have your own car. It was particularly nice to get out of the town center as the air quality there was not good at this time of year (a lot of April dust!).

Good hotel for a single night. The room is a little to small, but I knew that. Nice breakfast buffet, with everything needed for a good start to the day. The staff was very careful to fill up and keep the buffet clean

The toilet was very poorly placed, there was no room for the knees. Not easy to use when you are slightly disabled in your movements

Everything was perfect, the room was very big and comfortable, the staff was very helpful and breakfast was very good.
